Do you have a clue what NVer & CVer are bec theyre included in the patch?
Nothing system breaking about those two, i hope.
CVer contains the main system version number (11.15.0) and region character (U), as well as the master key used for parental controls. NVer is the network version (47) and is not updated in a game card update.

Hence 11.15.0-47. Brilliant!
What seemed to break luma in 11.14? Is it the NATIVE_FIRM** nintendo patched?

so should i just not updAte or is this an important update?
If your console is on 11.14 there is no reason to stay behind.

NATIVE_FIRM being updated often breaks it, but not always (e.g. 11.12 from November 2019 updated NATIVE_FIRM but Luma3DS did not need an update).

Awesome to see there's detailed reports(yls8.mtheall.com/ninupdates) on 3ds updates. Didnt know that until I saw your post. One way or another, you would easily know what they changed in the system.

Oh & you're the one who created custom-install, right? That application is so far one of the best. Made installing cias efficient & error free. (Using 2.1b2 & finalize 1.5, have no issues whatsoever.)

The gateway 3ds fork of "11.14.0-46E/U" from:
https://psxtools.de/forum/index.php...-7-0-40e-u-j-original-gateway-card/&pageNo=15
Still works after the update if someone wants to know:

Hi I really hope this thread isn't dead... ever since the new update came out, I went online and read many reviews that updating your 3ds console even tho your on CFW is safe.
I went ahead and did mines, but ever since I did so and carefully followed all the instructions, I seem to have this problem now that whenever i power off my console and decide
to turn it back on again, it takes longer than the ususal to boot up. Also no matter how many times I put a nice theme, after rebooting the theme resets the default theme.
And the console has a small lag when scrolling through the games in the menu screen. If i remove the sd card and insert it back in, it would sometimes remember the last theme i had
saved, boot up normally, and works perfectly smoothe even when scrolling through games in the main menu. But once again if I power off the console and power on again then the
problem starts again. Tho this issue only affects the main menu theme, game scrolling, and the long time lapse to boot. It doesn't affecty no kind of gameplay. Apart from that there is
no other kind of issues. Is there a way to fix this? If so, can someone please help and perhaps show me a video or send me a link to a safe guide in how to fix this issue?

These are usually what happens with large SD cards. If it's 128gb make sure it was formatted for 64k clusters. Anything larger will just have problems no matter what because the 3DS is too slow to read large SD cards.

Updates generally don't cause this, and especially not 11.15.

You can use 32kb if you want, 64kb have faster boot time compare to 32kb and but 64kb take more space on your sd due to how allocation work.
sorry xD if i were to use 32kb, will it still give problems with the boot time and the theme always reseting to default? or 64kb is more better?

64kb reduce boot time from like 30 seconds to like 20 seconds, but you would encounter bug like the gba game graphical bug like @The Real Jdbye mentioned. If you have a larger card like 200+GB and if you don't play GBA games you can use 64kb cluster.

They have discontinued consoles and games for both platforms and since both have free online, Nintendo are only losing money on it. Sad to say it but Nintendo have become just as cash grabby as every other big publisher, if it's not making them money, why would they keep it?
Why should anyone be obligated to host free servers for things that lose them money? They should be obligated to provide the necessary tools to the customers - an EoL decentralisation clause - but in reality are often legally incentivised not to. Maybe it would be too capitalist for some university graduated lawmaker out there.
