I have the same R4 and have been looking for a kernel for a long time.
I recently found this forum and noticed it by looking at the photos posted by Tigger.
This is R4 III, not R4!
My R4 "III" looked like ■ because the print was dark.
And I searched for a kernel for R4III and was finally able to boot.

Now I'm looking for the final kernel.
Please let me know if you have any information about the final kernel.

I wrote this as "R4 III", but the exact name is "R4 III Upgrade", which is one of the clones.
It is different from "R4 III" and "R4 III SDHC Upgrade Revolution".
The working kernel contains _R4__III.DAT.
The final kernel I found was v3.13.
You can find it by doing a Google search for "Kernel R4 III-Upgrade --Linkando NDS".
This is an English version only and I wish I could find a Japanese version or a newer version.
