how do i setup the cheats? none is being shown from all of the games on my dsi xl.

how do i setup cheats? cheats are not showing up for all games, im using the usrcheat.dat from deadskullzjr. im using a r4i dual core from r4isdhc com

Games that does not show you the CHEAT option means that either the games does not have ar codes inside usrcheat.dat or they are with their 8 digit code different after the 4 digit code. i.e.: ABCD 00000000 is the game code, and it is this way stored into the package... but your same game for some reason, like rom hacking or not is having ABCD 11111111.... So, you have to enter the cheat database editor and change this... load the rom, apply the new code and save! all done! If the problem after this process is not solved, the game does not have a cheat code (ar code) inside the database.

I've tried this undub version (which I really liked because it has the original names of the characters) but it still freezes at some random point. Did you change anything to make it work? I use the R4 SDHC Dual-Core 2016 if it helps.

I have not played this game yet... I just downloaded it and inserted inside my sdcard...
maybe if you use ar codes for unfreezing can solve this...
I'm gonna test it today.
What point of game it freezes?
What is your RGF version?

I'll try the AR codes to see if it works. The games freezes at a random point but it never takes a long time. I'm using RGF 7.06.

EDIT: tried the AR code but it didn't solve the problem :/

are u playin BLIZZARD or FIRESTORM?
I tested FIRESTORM by myself and it really cashes...

Well done. You've confirmed something that, unfortunately, I already suspected.
To my knowledge, it is the only official title that is not supported by YSMenu in any of its versions (normal, hacked or patched).

Yu-Gi-Oh! WC 2011 and Lufia - Curse of the Sinistrals gives me crash at certain point too...

Having played the SNES titles years ago, I wanted to play this one at some point.
Have you tried both the (U) and (E) versions?

I think I tried US version.
some games like Blue Dragon - Awakened Shadow have problem with US version, but EU version is OK.
I'm going to test some games again lmao
that's a pretty annoying thing...

Maybe in a future YSMenu update Inazuma Eleven gets fixed. But for now I think I'll have to use dual boot.

Does anyone know if YSMenu supports "cloneboot" for Download Play on Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64,Mario Party DS? My R4 does it, but i wonder if installing YSMenu removes it or it keepa the function

YSMenu works with cloneboot.

I think you are confusing it with nds-bootstrap, where support for cloneboot is not removed, but rather broken. Nothing is intentionally removed.

Oh, ok.
But R4.dat is the same of ysmenu.dat...
Just copy ysmenu.dat (or ysmenu.nds, I don't remind very well), paste and rename it to R4.dat. lmao
