I only just said to someone else on another post about looking at getting a phone today! at least with a model type i might be able to get hold of a second hand one! do you think the active ones work the same way? I have read they support nfc and if it's hard wearing then i wont be scared to drop it lol.

Can I scan the tags more than once? the tags I ordered said re-writable on them.
I dont know what youre referring to. If you could link a picture of the cards youre talking about I could maybe help point you in the right direction.
Signatures only show up in the desktop website. Not on mobile (its kind of annoying) but the link to the mega thread is actually in the OP. I can edit it to make that more clear I suppose.

You can print them at whatever thickness you want. I chose 100lb stock worked pretty good (note if you are going to sandwich the NFC sticker in between a back and front piece you will be doubling up the thickness).
You need NTAG215 NFC tags. And once you write to them they get locked. They are not able to be reused.

I have same question as DarKOrange, but i've 5.4cm x 8.55cm NFC cards and I struggle to resize your jpg as it is not the same aspect ratio and I tried using your Photoshop template and how can I print it with this size

Glad you liked my designs enough to get them printed!Full NFC card set from China finally arrived. Pretty good and fairly cheap for $80 (162 cards).
Quick snap at work of some of them but will try and post a bit more later. Cards are quite thick, and bit thicker in the center due to the NFC chips. Overall pretty good quality, with a few tiny bumps on the edges probably from shipping but not worried about that.
Will be testing and copying data to them tonight!
I like it, it looks great. I am obsessed with anime, I love all anime products I can get my hands on, especially postcards. I have different posters with famous anime heroes on the walls in my room. This Christmas, my friends gave me, as a gift, a cool bed linen set with a nice anime body pillow. It is very soft and nice. More than that, the print is so bright and stylish that it fits the entire design of my room perfectly. And this means that I don't need to use anything else to make the bed.

@Random11 Just wondering if you have any interest in doing cards for Zelda & Loftwing and the Metroid Dread amiibo. I managed a passable Zelda & Loftwing card using your template (which I can't share because new user), but I wouldn't know where to start on the Dread cards.

I took a shot at the Metroid cards and managed something close, but I wasn't able to find a good source for the red space image without it being cropped too short. Also, I couldn't find any transparent images of Samus and E.M.M.I., and cropping a white robot off a white background was less than fun. Hopefully you have better luck with it than I did. In any case, thanks for all your hard work on these!
So far it looks like the most annoying part is going to be recreating the smoke for the bottom half of the card and the sparks that are in front of samus and emmi.... Pretty busy right now so I probably wont get around to it for a few weeks. But I'll post when I have something.

I realized very quickly that the sparks were beyond my skill set and totally forgot about them until you mentioned it.
For the smoke, I managed something very close to the original by downloading a high resolution stock video of smoke, grabbing a still frame from it, and putting it under a layer of white at 40% opacity. It's not accurate down to each wisp or anything, but I wasn't finding what I needed from Nintendo, so it's not bad.

quite a tight bend on that 8pin->12pin adapter in my case, which is the worst case scenario, but i made sure it was fully seated after plugging everything in and bending the cable so it shouldn't come unseated by itself since i pre-stressed the cable

So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
