I'm developing a save editor for both "Neo: The World Ends with You" and "The World Ends with You: Final Remix". It's called Scramble.
It works for any version of both games.

Works with PS4, Switch and PC save files.
If you have a PS4, you need to get your decrypted save using Save Wizard's advanced mode (this is a paid software, unfortunately).

A quick update on what's to come.

ta-da!

Food did not unlock, however. (They have their own section somewhere else?).
Edit: nah, I just mistyped the offset.

Whether pins have been mastered or not, has their own section somewhere else as well.
In the end, "Flag" was just whether you had seen the item, a.k.a. "new" (yellow dot in the corner).

I will make a new release when I figure out those things. stay tuned °_°

Looks amazing thanks for this, such a good game. I like how you can change difficulty in your editor.. I wonder if it would cause problems to set it to ultimate before unlocking it normally

Does unlocking all the pins via records actually give you the pins in your pins tab to equip?

To answer your question with a quick test, ultimate works fine with pins but if you press the plus button you can't exit until you lower the difficulty, and no unlocking them just unlocks them in collection not in your inventory, but I'm sure he'll add that feature eventually

EDIT I should note I used HxD to edit my save, but results should be universal

Inventory works quite differently than in the first TWEWY.
Unlocking all records will allow you to unlock pins and clothing as if you "once had them", but the actual items you have in your pockets are somewhere else. I know exactly where so I'll be adding that soon.
Meanwhile, books and music are unlocked for real, those are not stored in your pockets.

I'm pushing a new release today.

tIn51sF.png
P7A23M9.png

Changes:
- Edit experience (and in consequence, level)
- Edit your collection data.
- Fixed a bug regarding date and time.
- You can now dump and re-import save slot data if you want to manually edit something using HxD or another hex editor.

If you use that last feature please let me know your finds, along with the offset of what you modified!

Anyone else getting a 404 error from those download links on windows? Can't get the runtime anywhere :/
I can download it just fine. Try here

I will consider downgrading to .NET framework 4.8 if there are too many issues in the future °_° .NET Core is a fairly recent thing and it's cross-platform.

Hey everyone. I'm working on the pin inventory editor :P
I datamined every pin data including level-up tables (max possible level, which amount of experience equals to what level, etc.) for the editing to be easier and accurate.

So far I recreated the pin inventory list using save data.

gihp0DI.png

neat! we got icons next to the name!

From now, here are the plans for next:
- Show whether a pin is mastered or not (pin is max level but pin it's not a yen type or collectible)
- Show pins grouped by amount (up to 99x); these pins share the same characteristics (same level & same exp)
- Make sure you can't have more than 99x of pins with same characteristics.
- Edit each individual pin values, add or remove pins.

Also, there's another value that I have no idea what is (the "Unknown" column), so far every pin on my save has it with value 0. I do not know if this value is actually used in the game. I might hide it for the time being.

I will update you guys later. See ya

Update:
Here is the finished pin editor design. :)

Your UI skills are so good this already looks 10x better than a lot of other save editor programs out, even for more popular games, kudos. Looking forward to the update

Really appreciate this, and just as it's been said, the UI is very nice.

It seems that the money value does not accept anything higher than 99,999 at the moment. When I try to load a save with more than that, I get an error. From what I've seen so far (Week 3 in-game) things are starting to have prices in the 7 digit mark.

There's a cheat in the cheats thread that gives you max money even before you get the bigger wallet. You can use that instead. If you try to edit your save it will error because that's more than you can hold right now

I'm playing on Ryujinx, and I've not been able to make any of those cheats work, sadly.

I'm far enough in the game where I can hold 7 digits of money, but when I load the save into the editor, that's where the problem happens. It's not really that big of a deal, but the grind is real without cheats...

I also have no luck with cheats on ryujinx so the only thing I can think of is hex edit your save and see if it's the editor

EDIT: @Crysal upload your decrypted save and tell me exactly how much money you have, I'll take a crack at it

Thank you for this. I released a hotfix for values out of range. Download it here: https://github.com/supremetakoyaki/Scramble/releases/tag/v0.2.1

I also upped FP cap to 9,999 and money to 9,999,999. Let me know if it's actually possible to get more in the game.
I know FP is an unsigned 16-bit integer so theoretical maximum is 65,535 but that seems overkill.

Pin editor is basically done, I just need to do some testing first.
Entering the menu with 0 pins crashes the game so I'll add a warning on that.

aZDCy7r.png

I'll update you guys later.
-

Update: It works.

I added x1 of every pin and it worked fine:
MqQuACz.png

However, there are still some caveats.
The editor cannot modify which pin the characters are equipping yet, and that's troublesome because, while I'm succesfully adding, editing or removing pins to the inventory, the indexes of equipped pins remain the same.

So far I've encountered the following issues due to that:
- Equipping a non-existent pin -> game crashes when opening menu.
- Equipping a non-battle pin such as yen or rare metal -> the menu softlocks.

I'll work on that asap and I'll let you guys know.

Also, I'm afraid to say that from now, if you haven't reached a late part of the game, the save editor will sadly spoil you character or story details. I take no responsibility for that.
