Great App, I don't like the widescreen because of the stretching but the other filters are great, currently loving Linear Sharpen 1, Sono's crisp (tweaked) is good too (but I'm ok with trading the sharpening halo for better 3D edges). Anyway with my O3DSXL I still use 1:1 for sprite based games

I honestly have no idea how Nintendo couldn't implement something like Linear Sharpen 1, which is very similar but somehow miles better than Nintendo's default scaling. It's so much better that it made me enjoy DS games on a N3DSXL more.

Found this thread by searching for a fix for WarioWare Twisted. I tried replacing the GBARunner file bundled with TwilightMenu with the one above but now GBA games won't load. Is there another step I'm missing? Do I need to patch something to enable the gyro controls?
This build should only be used for loading WW: Twisted! Don't replace the build that comes with TWLM++, just load this specific file as any other .nds file.

Also, seems like TWPatcher has access to certain kinds of gyro AFAIK. Which's your model? 2DS/2DSXL/3DS/3DSXL/N3DS/N3DSXL.

Thanks! I'll just add this to another directory and load it as a regular NDS file then. I have a 2DS, N3DS, and N3DSXL. I'm trying to get this working on my 2DS, which I use exclusively for GBA games due to the screen having a grid. Just didn't know if I needed TWPatcher in addition to the linked file you shared.

Check this link: https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/GBARunner2/DSi_3DS_Compatibility_List#Gyro_Support_in_Games

Also, you need to have a patched TwlBg.cxi, even if using Nintendo's default way of scaling.

Perfect! Answers all my questions and thanks for the link.

Edit: No luck, after all. I followed the guide and made sure the Luma settings are correct and that it's loading from the SD. I then installed the TWPatch and made sure those settings were enabled. Also made sure I wasn't forcing DS/DSi mode in the TwilightMenu settings.

GBARunner loads when I select the .nds file within TwilightMenu. However, launching a GBA game just results in a black screen.

Tried each of the two latest gyro releases using the file labeled
GBARunner2_arm7dldi_3ds.nds.

Everything still works in TwilightMenu using the latest update; just no gyro support there.

I think that might be a GBARunner2 issue rather than TWPatcher's business. Ask in their thread,

Found the issue in another thread and posting here for anyone who might run into the same in the future: uncheck "Skip GBA bios screen" in settings. Everything now works, but the motion controls are too inaccurate to enjoy the game. People are better off sticking to mGBA on the new 3DS or the standalone mGBA release on Vita.

Hello there, how can apply the fullscreen for the agb_firm? that would be perfect

It's already stretched to the top and bottom edges, but if you want to stretch it to all sides then enable "DMPGL Wide" in the patch menu.
You can boot into hidden AGB patching mode by holding Y while TWPatch is loading.

I don't see the "DMPGL Wide" option in the Patches. Also when holding Y i just get the same menu but just two Scale options. What am i doing wrong?
