It seems like cheats are going in the wrong directory for Edizon?
Its supposed to go in /atmosphere/titles/<titleID>/cheats
But its being extracted to /atmosphere/content/<titleID>/cheats

Atmosphere doesn't use the titles folder and hasn't for a long while. It uses contents now. Edizon still recognizes it.

I'll manual update AIO then by downloading it from the first post then yeah? Thanks :)
Making sure you're using the latest version is important. Other than that it could be that your internet is slow/the app struggles to fetch something. Can you try in airplane mode and report back?

It doesn't do it while Atmosphere is running, it reboots to a specific payload to update Atmosphere files.

The issue isn't resolve with the AIO updater, you still have a chance of updating with the AIO updater there will be a chance the file the updater provide you will cause your Atmosphere to not boot, that happened to me when I tried to update it, Im just referencing to what vgmoose mentioned in another thread.

I also appreciate this app! SciresM specifically asked that Atmosphere be removed from hb-appstore, and as such we took down this Updater as well. The technical concern was over updating files on SD while AMS was running. I was also keeping in mind that TotalJustice discontinued the work when making the removal decision. (hi!)

I will likely continue to either use this app or use ftpd since I don't usually have an SD adapter + PC at hand when I want to update. It's unfortunate because I think this ability has utility to the community, but as SciresM is the author of AMS it seems fair to respect their wishes.

SciresM actually said my way of performing updates (ie in bootloader context) is acceptable. 90% of the failures to boot after updating with AIO are caused by outdated sysmodules that prevent HOS from booting, and I've somewhat recently added an option to prevent that. That being said, it is not theorically impossible that my app fucks up randomly at some point resulting in a botched update, but I tried my best for it not to happen

Talking about botched updates, I've updated my atmosphere and hekate from the app, and now the console boots to the hekate splash screen for a split second and then it goes to a yellow text, sideways, that says "an exception occurred (LR 8105A540): UNDEF Press any key..."

Pressing any key restarts it and shows this once again, in a loop. Injecting the payload again from the pc after forcefully shutting down the console and turning it on with the jig doesn't work either (sends it in this loop again)

Can you guys help me unbrick my console?

Seems like some Nyx related file got corrupted. Download new Hekate and atmosphere zips and extract them to your sd card. If that persists, delete your existing atmosphere, Sept and Hekate folders and get new ones.
Are you using exfat by any chance?

Can anyone give me a quick mini tutorial on how to update (in correct order)?

I understand @Hayato213 says not to update while in AMS, but I’m confused if it’s doable (@Homlet) to update FW (10.x - latest) then update AMS and patches without exiting AMS as I don’t have access to PC or my JIG right now. Just my switch and internet. (I have AIO downloading 12.0.3 rn, and 90DNS in place).

Thanks in advance.

Connect an USB C cable from your PC to your switch, boot into Hekate, go to tools-> USB tools, then mount your SD Card, download Atmosphere and Hekate files, and patches depending if you are using a Hekate/Fss0 build or Fusee-Primary, Patches are based on bootloader. As for firmware get them from darthsternie, update firmware with daybreak.

You could do what @Hayato213 said, or you could actually use aio switch updater. Update AMS with aio, remove sysmodules bootflags when prompted to make sure you'll be able to boot, download the firmware with aio, install it with daybreak
It's important you update AMS before the firmware

OK so last night I did exactly as described (updated AMS, removed boot flags), and following being asked if I wanted to download Hekate and hitting no (I use fusee primary) it black screened. I left it a while, had to manually power back on. Cut to today, used my jig and tegra on laptop to get into RCM, and have a fatal error on AMS.

I have reinstalled AMS + patches manually with SD card reader and booted into AMS, updated with day break: all working fine. :)

IDK why it wouldn't work with AIO :(

@Hayato213 as stated I didn’t have access to a pc last night :P

I was hoping for a way to do it “untethered”, just overwrite files, update and reboot into AMS.

Yea Im afraid we need to use a PC to download and replace the files, I also got a fatal error when I tried to update Atmosphere with the AIO updater, must be problem with how the AIO updater overwrite the files.

If I understood well, you need a jig to enter RCM ? So I assume you don’t have AutoRCM installed, wich means, after AIO updater reboot to a specific payload to launch again AMS after update, it won’t work, as your are not in RCM mode. That’s how I see the issue, but I might be wrong, maybe @Homlet will give the right answer.
