If the console is banned, online and sometimes the eShop will not work.

CFW does not result in a ban but running homebrew CIAs has within the last few years has resulted in bans so all homebrew should be run via homebrew launcher using rosalina.

if you cannot use eShop, the 3DS you have is banned or a new 3DS that was incorrectly region changed.

All my homebrews run as extra apps and not through the homebrew channel. And still no ban. Using homebrew cias doesn't cause a ban. Cheating online is the reason to get banned.

Different R4 cards will require different files. It can be very difficult to tell them apart sometimes.

If you could upload a picture of your cart (or find a completely identical picture somewhere on the Internet), that would help.

But really, this question has absolutely nothing to do with Luma, so why don't you just start a new thread?

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
