Homebrew ipatched Switch on 4.1.0 freezes every time when loading HBmenu

It seems that the exploit works every time and I see HBmenu and Caffeine Icons. I select HBmenu it does it's thing. 30 sec+ I get SUCCESS and it asks me to press home and the Album and then IT ALWAYS freezes!
I tried restoring the Switch to original settings, re-formatted the SD card in PC and in another Switch, Tried all sort of hbmenu.nros and same thing. It simply refuses to load that HBmenu. Freezes partially. It will even go back to the Pegascape screen, but other than giving me shut down options, nothing works.
Anyone came across such stubborn Switch and got it to work? Any suggestions?

EDIT: Screen looks like in this thread gbatemp.net/threads/hbmenu-not-working-album-icon-results-in-blank-screen-softlock.511525/. OP claims he fixed it with newer files, but I think I have the newest (downloaded off switch.homebrew.guide)

I did that too out of curiosity and it just spins and spins on PegaScape page
EDIT: I stand corrected. After awhile a windows pops up, it says to click on the line where the text goes in and then press power button within 3 seconds. It freezes partially afterwards. There is also cancel and ok, and I think they also freeze the Switch partially.
I'll post photos as soon as the forum lets me.
