The battery level indication on my Switch has gone totally crazy. It jump around between random levels every second: 100%, 5%, 37%.... This is definitely a hardware issue since it does the same in OFW as in Hekate. Also bears zero relation at all to actual state of charge.
The real capacity seems normal: I drained it down in OFW to attempt to recalibrate (without result) and it took +8 hours. But it’s really annoying since it’s constantly flashing low battery level warnings in Nintendo’s firmware (I use the system mostly for Android).
I assume a sensor has just randomly gone nuts, since I can’t find any report of a similar issue from anyone before. What I’m most curious about or whether replacing the battery will resolve the issue; is the battery capacity logic/sensor on the battery itself or on the main board?
