You could setup a emuNAND on a fitting FW or downgrade with Daybreak to a lower FW. But you won't be able to boot into it without SXOS because of a fuse mismatch.

I am assuming you are not using a TX modchip.

If you don't want to use an emuMMC, you can boot your system using the latest version of Atmosphere and downgrade to 11.0.0 using Daybreak. After that, you should block updates on your sysMMC, and you will be able to use SX OS with it again. As it was already mentioned above though, you will not be able to boot your Switch without using a custom bootloader like fusee-primary, Hekate, or SX OS, since you will have a fuse mismatch.

That all being said, it is recommended that you make the switch to Atmosphere and stop using SX OS, since it is unlikely to ever receive support for anything above 11.0.0. As newer games are released, newer system versions above 11.0.0 will be required to play them.

Not to Hijack the thread. But why is ChoiDujourNX not recommended?
ChoiDujourNX is no longer supported, and it isn't as safe. Daybreak uses the same functions as if you were performing an update from a cartridge and includes all the accompanying safeguards. ChoiDujourNX also causes issues on Mariko systems.

I was still clinging onto the hope that SXOS will release new update for OFW 12, guess not...
Is it really the end? T_T

It's likely the end, yes. Migrating to Atmosphere is recommended, but you have some time before games/updates are released that require system versions higher than 11.0.0.
