For anyone with ipega or other controllers that haven't been pairing since 12.0.0, here are some patches I made that may enable them to work again. I've had confirmation that this works for the ipega controllers at least.

For people hanging out for Wii/WiiU support: while these patches are also necessary in your case, there are additional modifications that will need to be made before these controllers can be paired again. I'm still in the process of trying to figure out where everything goes wrong on the new firmware.

Hi,
I am using a xbox one controller but it doesn't work. Hardware ID is BTHLE\Dev_4416226ddada
Is it because of the 12.x.x or do I need to whitelist it ?
If so how can I do ?
Thanks

Xbox One controller should just work. If not, then you're probably doing something wrong. Though based on that BTHLE string, I'm going to guess you actually have an Xbox Series controller using Bluetooth LE, and those aren't compatible yet

Incorrect button mapping is always caused by a controller having the older firmware. Try update on a different PC. I've heard of cases where the xbox accessories app reports there are no updates even though the user has a very old version.

That said, if you still can't update I've added support for the old firmware to the development branch of the project now, it just won't be available until the next release. If you're running a console firmware version < 12.0.3 you can use the build I posted here. If you're on 12.0.3 you'll have to build it yourself for now.

They're not asking how to remap buttons on a PC, they're complaining of mission control mapping them incorrectly by default This occurs when a user has an older version of the controller firmware that sends a slightly different report format and shifts the offsets of some of the input fields.
Oh, my mistake.

Hello , is your Gamesir T2a now working ?
It won't, because the user never followed up to help me with adding support for it. You can follow my instructions below on their behalf if you want and I'll make it work.

Open a controller request on my github page. You likely just need to post the output of my btdb application so I can add it's vid/pid.

No there's no tutorial. Just open an issue on github and label it as a controller request for the controller. Write a quick explanation and post a screenshot of the btdb app after having connected your controller. For this controller it's likely that I only need to add the vid/pid shown in the screenshot and everything else will just work.

The latest version of mission control will always work regardless of your firmware, providing your atmosphere is also up to date. The only exception to this is when there has been a new firmware version released and there hasn't been enough time for everything to be updated.

After adding support for the controller I will post a custom build on the github issue for you to try so you can confirm everything working as expected. Then you can continue to use that until the changes make it into the next official release.

Oh okay thank you very much, and installing mission control wont affect my already paired pro controllers ?
