I appreciate that they remembered the franchise, but full price tag for a couple GBA games is kinda ridiculous even for a tactics stan like me. If they threw Dual Strike in, I'd consider it, otherwise I'll just replay originals on Retroarch or something.

It's a remake of 2 games, with extra features on the reboot camp. Then again who am I to convince people.

I get that it's a remake, but at least judging by demos, the core gameplay still isn't much of a change over 2001 versions. Visually I'd even say it's a step back, due to how sterile and plasticky it looks in comparison to iconic spritework of original games - if that's how they're going to do the next entry, then I'm already worried.

At this point, some extras isn't enough to sell me on the package - I'd say $30-40 is more fitting for this one.

Let's just say that series would keep being dead then, maybe to some.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that AW returned - it's just that when resulting comeback neither recreates the vibe of the series nor adds much to it, I struggle to enjoy it as much. I hope this one will sell enough to kickstart a real sequel, but I really hope this is not a direction the series will go in if it does.

Dual Strike is the best of the four games. Problem is Dual Strike was a DS game, and at times fully used the Dual Screen capability for gameplay. So that would be a tougher game to port.

This artstyle makes me want to puke.

I am SHOCKED that ANYONE is being positive about this. It looks like absolutely hideous, slapped together cheap almost early access like low budget unity tier.

Appalling.

There are more than four, actually. "Famicom Wars" and "Super Famicom Wars" were not released in the US. There were also 4 "Game Boy Wars" games.

Just looks like a lot of the old first-party Wii stuff to me, by no means my favorite style but not the ugliest thing in the world either. Game should be $40 at most though.

And for those wondering, it was confirmed on Treehouse that it does have online play for two players, local play for up to four.
