@Robz8 , sorry, I was never able to solve the no boxart on the home menu problem with the nds. my 3ds doesn't have this problem. could it be my model and flash cart together? it's a ds lite (Japanese) and a supercard dstwo. boxart appears on the normal games' list, so I know it's being detected. it might be a combination of settings together, not sure. I tried using the settings file of the 3ds as a template, just the settings that existed for both systems, and that didn't make a difference, so I have no idea. it's been this way, possibly always, or at least the past few updates.

I have a question, could it be possible to fix the brightness going at Max capacity every time a DS ROM is booted using the flashcard firmware and twilight menu?

Basically, I one of those who prefer to keep the brightness at its lowest for my eye's sake but every time I use Twilight Menu and use the firmware to run the games, most games I play automatically set themselves to max brightness and it hurts my eyes, despite the fact that I program both the DS Lite through it files and the firmware too to be at lowest brightness.

So even when you try your flashcard on 3DS (launched normally through HOME Menu), it doesn't have this issue?
Either way, this is one of the strangest bugs I ever heard of.

There would need to be a way to disable auto-setting the brightness level in the Wood FW to fix that.

I suggest trying the flashcard on your 3DS then, so we'll know if the bug is specific to the console.

what are the options to use the flashcart on the 3ds? I think I enabled them, but I don't know if I'm accessing the micro sd card in the flash cart or the one on the 3ds?

Launching from the 3DS HOME Menu, as said before.
Also, if you look at the bottom-left of the "Now Loading..." screen or the R4 theme's ROM menu, you'll know which device is being accessed.

so what should I do?
Try either another flashcard or SD card.
If you don't have another one of both, you're out of luck. Best to just wait for the bug to get fixed (which is less likely to happen), or wait for TWLMenu++ to start using libslim in place of libfat, once libslim's bugs get fixed in the future.

My apologies if this has already been asked, it's a lot of pages of thread to go through. Been trying to run DSLiero on my 3DS through TwilightMenu, but it can't load themes or level files. Whenever I try to switch, it gives an error saying it could not open the directory. Any ideas how to get it working?

@Robz8 , I tried a different micro sd card, same problem. I also tried running golden sun, and it didn't run at all. it runs just fine on my original micro sd card. no settings have been changed.
