I wanted to change SD card from 16 to 64 GB in my 3ds with Homebrew. Until changing it of course i made an formatting into fat32 format. Then i copied all files from one card to another. After putting in 64 SD card i have ARM11 exception. Is it because of non compatibility with 64 gigs card? Version of console is Old 3DS xl

64gb works fine. Just use something like Guiformat to format to fat32 with. Check that aswell as that you have the 10.2.1 luma boot.firm. 128gb. 256gb. 500gb. they all work fine as long as they are formatted correctly.

An ARM11 error indicates that your 3DS was unable to read your SD card, and is instead trying to use the outdated version of Luma installed to your 3DS NAND. You should probably update it as soon as you can, as in https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup#section-vi---ctrnand-luma3ds .

As for why your 3DS isn't reading the SD card, that's probably because it was not formatted correctly, or not inserted correctly. The most reliable way to format it is with Godmode9, though that isn't completely necessary.

Thanks, it worked.
