Hello,

First I want to say I have searched probably every thread regarding Beatles Rockband DLC for help and nothing is working for me. I've been spending about 2 hours plus trying to figure this out.
So I created a neek NAND with modmii and have it set up on my hard drive. It is working just fine and boots up, this I have verified. I have tried several methods of installing the DLC. I have installed the WAD file through ShowMiiWads. It shows up as installed. I have verified this by going into the data of the emunand and it shows the Beatles Rockband DLC save. I have also tried installing the WAD file directly from the homebrew channel. That also seemed to have installed fine.. (no errors). I have also tried a rockband DLC downloader program to download, unlock and decrypt the songs. Again this also seems to work. I have tried these different methods, all with a CLEAN emunand just to rule out bad or corrupted DLC files. All methods seem to install the DLC fine.

I have tried booting up Beatles Rockband directly through neek I select the WBFS file directly from the USB hard drive and load through the disc channel. It loads fine, however no DLC is listed in game. I have also tried to load the game through USBLoader GX with this specific game pointing to the neek emunand. Same results, game loads, no DLC listed. If it means anything I dont select to have save to SD card, I've tried both ways and no difference. Not sure if it has anything to do with trying to connect to the online servers. Game tries to connect and fails obviously, so I select not to use online leaderboards/store. I have loaded other DLC on other games just fine and it is recognized. This Rockband DLC I'm at a loss on...

If anyone can please help me I would greatly appreciate it!

Well, I was messing around with this some more. I decided to forego the Neek nand and just try to load the game through the regular emunand with USBLoader GX. Before I loaded the game I installed the DLC WAD file with the USB loader wad installer. Installed fine. Loaded up Beatles Rockband pointing to the regular emunand. Also would like to note that my save data was set to Partial. Game loaded and had the delay indicative of recognizing the DLC! Off to a good start. Then came the option to use the SD card... now here is where I'm not sure what I did was correct. I opted to use the SD cart to save data. It then said there was DLC detected and would copy it to the SD card. This step took quite some time as all the DLC data was copied to the SD card. Wasn't sure it froze initially but the hard drive light was flashing showing activity so I left it. Finally it completed.

Now all the DLC data is showing in the song list! Great...however when I would select a song it would show as loading, but then ultimately fail stating could not transfer data to wii memory. Multiple DLC songs did this. So I thought maybe it was because my save data setting in USBLoader was set to partial. I changed it to full. Tried again and the DLC loaded just fine and was playable...even including the Abbey Road content. From what I have been reading nobody was able to get it to work, however it is loading with this setup.

Now I'm not sure if I would have disabled the SD save initially if it would just load it off the USB nand instead. Maybe this is the ideal method? Im not sure, and it seems I am not able to revert back. If I disable SD card save in the menu, then DLC doesn't show up. Not sure where the DLC content is saved on the SD card or how to go back from the beginning and just disable it. I also checked the SD card data in the real wii system menu. No data shows up relating to Rockband... is this normal?

Another issue I was worried about is the transfer of DLC to the real NAND with my USB Loader settings. Yes it works, but from my memory the songs will eventually fill the NAND up and take up all the data. I thought that for whatever reason the DLC that was transferred to the NAND would not be auto deleted and would have to be deleted manually at some point. I remember something like this back in the early days of rockband DLC and wii hacking as I had experienced this. Upon checking my real nand save data however, there is no trace of any Beatles Rockband DLC files. I have a save file only. I don't see any extra files indicating DLC data. I'm guessing if there was it would show up. I do have Rockband 3 save data and DLC data still showing from back in the day. Is that data just being read from the SD card and not actually being copied to the NAND for the wii to read? Maybe that's not how it works?

If anyone want to chime in with any insight or comments I'd appreciate it.

I'll let it be for now :) as it is currently working.

Is it still working? If so, would you be interested in helping me (noob with a son who LOVES Beatles Rock Band, but we got it after the DLC was nixed).
