Mario Party Superstars revealed, has boards from the N64 games, online, 100 classic minigames

One of the biggest pieces of news from the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct was the announcement of a new Mario Party title. The recently revealed Mario Party Superstars is a compilation game that mixes together 100 of the series' best minigames, played on 5 classic boards from the first three N64 Mario Party games, all with online play, both with friends and random matchmaking. All modes will offer local and online play, and more. It'll be launching on October 29th.

the mario party top 10 first was on 3ds so no couch coop and second it didnt include the original board styles of n64 play.

srs the best mario party styles of play are from 1-5 imo 6 and up started changing the formula and it was all downhill, now i see this as a return to greatness, i love the stars apearing on random places, the maps not being a one way street and so on, its overal the best, and i hope with free updates or even dlc they can remaster most n64 boards into these collections instead of just the current 5.
However it's not the best series ever made and that's why I skip it. And... please find a way to improve your English, I couldn't understand a good part of your post.

After so many Mario Party missteps, it's great to see that the game boards are finally revisiting the classic N64 era after years of missing the mark so hard in this regard. It's nothing groundbreaking by being a greatest hits collection, but there is also nothing wrong with it. Hopefully this means that pushing forward they're recognizing what fans want more of from the franchise and less of.

If Nintendo was smart, they’d look into eventually adding in more boards/minigames from other Mario Party games (Mario Party 4 representation hopefully!?) either as free updates, or more likely DLC, but we all know it won’t happen.

Heck they could even do the same thing with Mario Kart and just add new tracks/characters/carts into 8 Deluxe but why do that when they can sell you a whole new game at full price?

This would definitely be the Mario Party game to keep alive with DLC, by making it a greatest hits, they could just keep adding classic boards and minigames and the fans would keep paying, hell, I would. There's a lot worth revisiting beyond 5 N64 game boards. However that's a great era to start with for sure.

I really can't relate I never played a Mario Party game a day in my life so idk if I'm missing something.
If you do give it a try at some point, I can't stress enough how you should start with Mario Party 2 or 3. If you jump in on the wrong game you could be very misguided about what can make the series so great. Because there are some genuine duds in there, but there are some fantastic titles as well.

Is this a game where you play with a group of friends or something you can play online. I only ask because the games I do play online that's like with random people... My buddies mainly play PS4 and Xbox One (which I do also have) but I'm not on the competitive side with it comes to Cod and etc..etc.

I like to play a game for fun others play the game to win... (idk if that make sense to people)

Wow.

What the actual fuck Nintendo. You abandon Super Mario Party with ZERO DLC and barely any updates with a pathetic number of boards.....

And now you release this...that's not even new content which could have been DLC for Super Mario Party.... But instead you took the EA approach, charging $60 for a new game.

Man, fuck you.
