Cursed Games (‘◉⌓◉’)

Allow me to explain.

Have you had a weird situation going on whenever you attempt to play a specific game?
Like, terrible things happening just when you play that one cursed game.

I've found over the lapse of 10+ years, that strange things happens around me when I play that one game.

The game I'm talking about, is MegaMan Battle Network.

I LOOOVE those games, fast paced, collectibles, involves strategy, and literally your ability as a player determines whether or not you win the game.

Unfortunately, ever since I began playing it on my GameBoy Advance in 2004, I've had bad experiences going on JUST when I play, I'm currently playing, or finished playing THAT SPECIFIC GAME.

Without getting into details on tragedies and bad experiences, think of it like this:
You've got a game that you love. You play it endlessly. You grow up, look back in time, and realized that the time you spent with the game was awesome.
Only that instead of being awesome, shit happens.

I'm wondering, if it's just me that has had this kind of experience with a specific game.

I don't have an experience with any one game, but

My house caught fire and had massive structural damage while I was in the basement playing Majora's Mask

While playing Pokemon Black 2 I got really horribly sick and vomited like crazy for days (I still can't play that game from the PTSD)

I've never had this happen for me with videogames but with certain websites, whenever I visit them something bad happens to me afterwards, thankfully they aren't ones I regularly use... otherwise I would've probably been dead by now xD

Once my classmate told me an agar.io creepypasta, which got me really fucking scared. I was between 5 and 8 years old, mind you.

Trying to convince myself it's not real, I attempt to play it, only for me to suddenly start nosebleeding. Holy shit.

After that, it didn't seem cursed any longer, so it may just have been a coincidence. Right now I'm 15 years old. Nothing to worry about... right?

When I was a kid, I wanted to play Tales of Symphonia, but it was sold out. Cut to a few years later, I try to emulate it on Dolphin, and about 5 hours in, my save got corrupted. I tried again, and then my PC died and I had to reinstall windows, therefore losing the save again. I feel like if I play through that game, the end of the world will trigger, because clearly it doesn't want me to get through it.

Sounds like me trying to play Final Fantasy Dimensions.

First time playing it I got about 20 hours in then my phone fucked up and bricked itself.

Second time playing it I got to pretty much the same spot as before and the save file currupted

Third attempt got about 25 hours in and my phone was stolen.

I will report back what happens with the fourth attempt as I have just started playing it again lol.

Every single time I try to play Astral Chain, something happens to my body that prevents me from playing it. The first time I started playing it, I ended up getting extremely ill and was unable to focus on the game. I didn't continue playing it because my wife bought me Animal Crossing and I started playing the fuck out of that during the early part of the Covid pandemic. I kind of lost focus on the game as I started playing different games. I tried playing it again but ended up dealing and some traumatic news about my health and defaulted to playing Pokémon MD: Rescue Team DX instead. That's my comfort game for when I am super stressed and not able to focus on anything else. I was then going to give it another go on my stream after it was one of the highest-voted games for me to play. But my fucking immune system decided that the nerves in my right arm no longer vibe with this reality and fucked up my arm and hand. I lost a lot of strength in my hand and trying to play any intensive games causes me a lot of pain. So I've been unable to play the game for the second time and now I can't even enjoy games like Monster Hunter Rise on top of that.

I remeber playing Mario 64 and always felt nausea when playing on wet dry world. It was extremely terrifying and weird.
