Hello I have come back to rehack my switch and am currently running into some problems..
Some of the homebrew apps no longer work, such as Tinfoil USB is not detecting on NUT and Edizon crashing. I've downloaded the latest versions on github and Edizon seems to cause atmosphere to crash and reboot back to payload.

NUT does not detect a USB connection through tinfoil even after installing zadig drivers

Firmware 9.0.0
Latest current atmosphere on fusee glee primary
Latest Tinfoil and Edizon, using NUT v2.7

Not sure if anyone can answer you accurately because you gave no details about what is it that you're running. Give more tails: How/what do you have installed? What versions? etc...

Hello I have come back to rehack my switch and am currently running into some problems..
Some of the homebrew apps no longer work, such as Tinfoil and Edizon. Tinfoil installer launches and closes instantly. I've downloaded the latest versions on github and they both seem to cause atmosphere to crash and reboot back to payload. Are those apps no longer working, and are there any alternatives?

Also I have heard that HBG, JITS and other "freeshops" are shut down. I heard there is a new tinfoil method around. What is currently the best alternative for them?

The easiest way to update your switch IMO is via AIO Updater and Daybreak. Also, use the sigpatches from the link below instead of a sig patcher since they're mostly outdated. Tinfoil is your best alternative, and not all freeshops are shut down. There's a quite a few out there still.

Will sysnand 9.0.0 make a difference if im updating to 12.0.0? I heard it would update the gamecard slot so it might make something not work on sysnand

Firmware 9.0.0

Seems like tinfoil works on shops, but tinfoil sees blank through USB when using NUT

Updating the cartridge slot prevents it from being used on firmware versions below it so that is what you would have to keep in mind.

Try using TinWoo Installer instead. Also, please utilize the Switch Noobs Paradise next time rather than make a bunch of threads.
