If you're going to talk about a total of 4 games two that's already out is it even worth doing a "Presentation".

The guy talking about ultra chargers presentation = longer than Capcoms. Gotta love E3.

It's kind of getting harder and harder to blame Sony for no longer being apart of this sh*t show.

I fucking called the RE8 DLC. Even if it's just an expanded mercenaries mode loke raid mode. I'll be very happy. I have a feeling the DLC will raise more questions then answer the ones we have. Over all very excited.

Anyone who expected more than The Great Ace Attorney for the series might as well have expected Nintendo to shadow drop BOTW2 for launch before E3.

AA5 was announced via Japanese financial briefing, or officially at Tokyo Game Show.

6 did get a focus at E3...nearly a full year after it got a demo at Tokyo Games Show 2015...

7 is in development according to the leaked Capcom docs, but even Japan doesn't have it officially announced in any regard. Why would a western game event be the place for them to announce it when they've never done so ever before?

I'm not saying Capcom's show didn't suck, but at least hold them to reasonable expectations...

E3 used to be good.

This has nothing to do with E3 being "bad"
What does E3 have to do with the current state of games in development?

There's usually a stellar year with all the big titles dropped, then two or three dry years and a really hype year with all those big titles being released or at least getting E3 demos. Covid really dragged things out too.

Tho capcom has no excuse they literally aren't doing anything with their IPs as usual

I want the spinoffs to keep coming instead of the main line, anyway... this way I don't have to put up with the Hamburgerification that Capcom USA made with Ace Attorney. In the spinoff game people are from Japan and stuff, imagine that. And they go to England, not to the "English neighborhood" or some other insanity.

Square sucked, Capcom sucked, Gearbox sucked, Take Two wasn't even a real event and I think a lot of people were expecting it to be, and Ubisoft was ok at best, frankly that Summer of Games presentation to kick this off has been more exciting than these dedicated dev presentations. Xbox thus far is the only one that has put forth a real show worth talking about at this point in my opinion, at least they showed game after game after game, even if a bunch there are coming to PlayStation as well. I have high hopes for Nintendo, but pretty sad that when all is said and done that only really Microsoft and probably Nintendo truly showed up this year.
