I have read this entire thread, I am using sx os 3.1 emunand enabled...
I have the simple mod manager set up correctly because when I enable a mod I then use Tinfoil and see that the file has been written to sxos/titles.. and it passes the check in simple mod manager.

I am trying to apply character clothing mods in Atelier Ryza 1 but in game nothing changes when I go to the changing room and try on the various outfits. I have the dlc installed and have 6 outfits for Ryza.

Mods are in the following path example:
/mods/Atelier Ryza/Ryza dress/titles/0100D1900EC80000/romfs/Data/NX/Character/PC00A/PC00A_MODEL.glt (& PC00A_MODEL.elixir.gz

Mod manager is set to write to sxos

Please help me make this work....

Hi guys, what if the game name contains invalid symbol like colon in “The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III”.
How should I add the game?

The name isn't important, that's just what it shows up as in the Overlay for you. The TitleID is what matters.

I wonder if this is working with the latest atmosphere on 12.0.2 fw?
It is for me!

Hello there! I'm unable to change the "Attribute config preset" in a specific mod (app crashes). Which file should I create / edit to manually set it?

I basically want to change "Inherited from the main menu" to "root" on that specific mod / game.

PD. I'm on HOS 12.0.1, AMS 0.19.1, SMM 2.0.4

So I made the switch from SXOS to atmosphere 0.18.1 emunand just to try and get this to work..
I have mod manager working correctly and writing to "atmosphere/contents" but nothing is changing when I apply the mod in game?
What else could I be missing?

For anybody having the same problem as me the problem was updating SimpleModManager to 2.0.4, just tested HOS 12.0.2, AMS 0.19.4, SMM 2.0.3 and worked fine.

Anyway, to manually set it (if you don't wanna downgrade) just create /mods/[mod name]/this_folder_config.txt and write in it the preset you want (like "root" or "default" without quotes). It should work.

so let's say I've got a really really big mod, like 4 GB

it's been like 5 minutes since I tried to apply the mod and the Switch is still semi-frozen, doesn't respond to controls, but the home screen is clearly still animating

any way to have Simple Mod Manager work with giant mods like this?

one of my mods says active in yellow and cant be disabled what does this mean?

also I recommend having the dialogue option to downloads or not disappear earlier there's a small frame after the mod is installed you can click the install button again which causes a crash

Hi, simple question, why use this homebrew instead of just put mods directly in the correct folder and run the game?
(it's not mocking or something, it's a real question)

To easily manage multiple mods for multiple games, turn them on/off, conflicting mods, etc.

And be able to do this without a file manager, or ftp, or taking out the SD card/powering off switch.

it does take quite a while to copy/paste larger mods though. I wonder if there's a better method....? would renaming the folder in atmosphere/contents be a possible option?

Mod manager allows you to easily organize mods and turn them on or off via a simple GUI
