That's great news! Could you point me to a tutorial or similar to how to perform the update manually?
I bought this wiiU already with NUSspli installed so I haven't homebrewed myself, but I can follow directions.
Again, sorry for my extreme noobness

Update function was bugged in some older versions, so just do this update manually. Anyway, you'll love 1.24 (and 1.25 is just around the corner, hopefully last BETA round), I promise. ;)
Once this is out of beta will it be like PKGI for ps vita and ps3 where you can install some txt files for the program to read to get files that way?

I've just started using this to install breath of the wild. It starts just fine however several times my console just shuts off during download. I've tried install to USB and download to SD. I tried a smaller game and I had no issues. Not sure if something is timing out or what. When I tried to redownload it had to dl some files that I already did on prior attempts. Any suggestions?

my console just shuts off during download.
You're talking about a normal shutdown, not a crash, right? If so disable auto power-down:

This is probably a dumb question, but what kinds of things does this download? Just updates for games, or is it a yo-ho-ho-type of software?
It's able to download everything...

glad to see this app updated once in a while, the new features are asweome.
really digging that background music like alex blu :)

the latest version adds downloading to usb also which is nice,
and i like that when you check a game/updade/dlc, it shows you the total file size :)

but i wonder how long it takes to get big files using this app, like for example
super smash bros (14gb) or xenoblade X (19gb), or X's DLC (11gb)
might be faster on LAN wired than wi-fi using a CAT-6 cable.
will have to try and see if it is faster than on wi-fi.

well the ps3 downlaods large files faster on wi-fi than the wii u, and it was a prevoius gen system, lol
tales of zestria was around 8gb, and it took like 1-2h or so.

Wow, last time I looked at this it was still at version 1.18 and now it's at version 1.30, it's really cool to see that you're still maintaining support for homebrew, that's really nice of you.

I loved the additions, but do you have any predictions about when it will be possible to download and install directly on NAND or was this discarded due to the risk of brick?

I see some games such as COD Black Ops II and Ghosts are not listed neither putting their title ID. As far as I know that's because the games per se were never sold digitally on Wii U, but is there any ways we could get those kinda games listed and downloadable in the app? uTikDownloader does this and I think that one also uses Nintendo's servers.

Why not try it for yourself? ;) Anyway, NUSspli is pretty good at doing its job:

It contains speed improvements for WiFi since some versions, too.

Cause of brick reasons I want to add other features first. See it this way: Each new feature could add new bugs. Some bugs could have a chance to brick your console when installing to NAND. So features first, stability after and then the install to NAND feature.

I think that one also uses Nintendo's servers.
Sorry to tell but they really aren't. I checked the Ninteno servers for unknown downloads but there are none (except https://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Talk:Title_database#Missing_TIDs for the reasons told there).

I've seen when a download stops and then you hit retry or it does it automatically, my downloads go usually at 11 or 12 Mb/s but then when that happens they lower down ti 3.50 Mb/s or 4. However, proving it's not a fault of my Internet connections, when I hit HOME and reenter NusSpli to keep downloading, it goes to 11 or 12 again. Is this only me?

Everything is working perfectly, it's a great program V10lator and thank you for your updates and answers!

Maybe this benefits someone so here is my troubleshooting for issues I encountered that have nothing to do with Nusspli:

- check if your SD card is not fisically locked on the little plastic lever on its side
- check if you SD card has enough size for the game files you want (delete the ones already installed or get a bigger card)
- check if your USB drive has an Y cable and if it doesn't work well or turns off randomly try switching the USB ports on the console
- if your USB drive is wonky while downloading or installing with Nusspli try to plug it off when downloading content to SD, restart the console when download is finished and then with USB plugged in open Nusspli again and install the content to the USB

Cheers!

NOTE: Everthing below version 1.25 is not supported by the online API anymore. That means getting a red screen / network error when trying to access the online services is expected and not a bug. If you're below 1.25 it's highly advised to update to the newest release! If you don't want to update disable the online database in the settings but don't expect any support!

Hm. Ever since the last update (the hotfix one) I've been getting some corrupted files in the pack. Like, I downloaded Rayman Legends without any interruptions both to the USB and then installed and to the SD Card and then installed. The first one installed on menu and when I open it it throws me the "Something's wrong with the USB" kinda error. Aaand in the other case I can play perfectly but some animations were straight up corrupted. Like, the main collectable of the game and some background details were purple MISSINGno-like images. I installed this game before some months ago and it was just fine in the same HDD. Srry for bad english it works when it wants to
