It was said earlier (sorry if I missed it) but was anything done about the Kai specific characters? Will there be anything done for Azure?

I'm talking about
Juna, Towa, Juna's siblings
Everything completely translated and edited for both games already.

Found an issue in the Prologue during Michel's Test sidequest.

As you can see in the pictures when you start the quest Michel repeats his first sentence: one without his portrait and one with it

I also found some weird symbol in the monster damage report on page 4 in the sentence that starts with "The mining equipment in this town was damaged"

That book symbol issue did show up during testing but I haven't figured a good approach to tackle that yet. I'll keep it mind later. As for the issue with Michel's dialogue, it's the fault of my reinsertion method (not the mod's). I'll try to tackle both issues when this gets updated.

I consider Evolution content out of scope for this project. Nonetheless if there were any previous patches for the Switch that used to work (not sure if there ever was), they should work with this. It boils down to relpacing the music files (on some propietary Switch sound format in the sound/ folder), and maybe also fixing the bgm table of the game which has information about the looping of the tracks (I think the Switch's own propietary sound format might provide its own looping mechanism/data, but I'm not sure if the game uses this or its own system).

Found a small issue in Chapter 1 Day 1.

When you receive the map and enter the tutorial It tells you to press + while in the city and press it again for a map to the state.

Currently the + is cut in half.

Found two more issues.

One of them occurs during Chapter 2 Day 2 during the Testaments Training quest.

This is exactly the same as the Michel test quest. Abbas says his line twice- once without his portrait and one with it.

The second issue is in the SSS request UI. "West Crossbell Highway Monster Extermination" The n in "extermination" is overlapping with the Reported section.

So this issue is a weird one. I am not sure if its an issue within the game itself but I don't recall this occurring in my previous playthrough. Could be wrong, though.

Somewhat Spoilery

This occurs in Chapter 2 day 2 right at the end during the Arc en Ciel show. I wasn't sure if it was a problem at the beginning but as the end progressed I was quite sure. When Lloyd and Elie look at the balcony Lloyd appears to be next to Dudley when they should be looking outside the doorway.

Additionally, as Lloyd runs past Dudley to get to the Mayor he literally runs past himself along the way.

Furthermore, at the beginning of Chapter 3 you can see Lloyd watching the show in the top right corner of the screen, and you also see a copy of himself in the bottom left corner.

Pictures are all included. Let me know if you need a save.

That happened in the older patch as well, and the vita one. Just don't save when the chapter ends and do it when you can save in the following chapter. (Not sure if it can actually be fixed, though)

Good to know someone else saw this issue.

I'm looking forward to the Azure patch. I've recently just gotten into The Legend of Heroes series and find this series very, very good.

This particular bug, from what I've been told, is from the original game. Although Geofront fixes it, I only ported the text itself because Kai's script has some differences (eg. portrait and dialog boxes X/Y offsets/scale, etc.) which prevent me from simply recompiling the Geofront's script as is. Anyways, I'll take a look into this and I'll try to port that fix over.

When will you fix Shenrai's issues? EvilGoku was always super fast :gun:
I don't believe providing patches for every single mistake that I fix, as that would introduce inconsistencies in what versions are published out there. I think it's best to gather an update release when I'm able to fix (or at least take a look if I'm not able to) all the bugs that have been reported, and then test such release before uploading, to ensure everything is right. I'm also in the middle of studies, internship stuff and this is not my only project (although both Zero and Azure are taking priority for the moment), so I can't give my 100% at the moment either.

I'd also like to think that the amount of bugs/mistakes is substantially lower than any previous patches, and with all the care and time that this patch has received, such a comment is very uncalled for.

Having played up until the Intermission I think the quality is quite high. Any issues I have encountered don't really detract from the experience and are minor at best. I don't think individuals who are simply playing would notice (while I am specifically looking for things).

Overall well done.

Relax my friend :rofl2: It was just a question. And if I think EvilGoku has always been fast then its my opinion. Never said I didn't appreciate your work. It shouldn't be an attack against you .. sorry
