possible, but this isn't a request thread lol. This is a "this is how you start looking into the idea of doing this yourself" thread. I personally wanted to add rumble into games that never had rumble e.g pokemon games, rumble would essentially just match secondary/tertiary sounds and not music, but I couldn't be bothered to figure out how. Maybe try properly later.

It's not as if three or more previous posters made 'suggestions/requests'... I was just bringing up the 5-7 so games on GBA that already have built in Rumble Support but don't work on Omega DE yet.

You're right it's not as if three or more previous posters made suggestions/requests. Only one person made a request and it was answered in the spirit of the thread's intentions :

Though I do feel your frustration, the handful of games you're referring to only had rumble when played in the gameboy player (gamecube) when you'd hook up a gamecube controller. Though there's no reason why it shouldn't be possible to achieve what you want.

I was referring to these posts.... and no one 'got onto them' other than asking a person to be more specific about which version of 'tetris'...

Nice!
Now we neee Smashing Drive and Payback and we are fine.

Great News :)

Can I be the first to get you to tear your hair out and ask for pokemon?
I think I am funny if nothing else.

Seriously though nice to see. Do we have a list of GBA games that used it?
https://web.archive.org/web/20181012084701/http://problemkaputt.de/gbatek.htm#gbacartrumble mentions drill dozer and warioware but I am not sure what else there was. Hopefully we can also get it for the GBC emulators for those few games.

As far as protocol goes is it likely to be a run at high/med/low power for X seconds/frames type of deal or are we going to have to also hack in a command to disable it later (or a counter on vblank I guess)?

could somebody make rumble for tetris on lineclear?
No one, not even you got onto them, about 'suggestions', or 'wants' (for Smashing Drive, Payback, Pokemon games, and Tetris).... What is your problem now with me? '

I'm not looking for conflict here, unlike you clearly .

All I can do is give a suggestion, say make a thread petitioning help, or offering something for somebody else to do the work for you. Or even just hire somebody via some outsourcing, maybe fiver, upwork or something?

Best of luck to you

Would it be possible to provide a more detailed example of calculating the jump offset? I have all the addresses I need I just can't figure out how to follow the example. Every time I try I get a different value than provided (specifically I become unable to follow at the bitwise & and | operations). No matter how I encode the hex (big/little endian) I can't seem to reproduce your results. The specific addresses I need for my purpose are jumping from address 0x080011b0 to 0x0817d7c0. Any help would be most appreciated, and at this point I can near guarantee a patch for Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire to enable rumble if I can just figure out this offset calculation.

Hello, I have a ds lite and I don't understand how to patch gameyob (slot1) so that the rumble function is activated on my EZ Flash Omega DE (slot2)? I have been looking for the answer for a few days and apparently the answer is on this thread
