I'm going to mod my switch soon, and plan to do everything inside emuMMC. However, recently I've played a lot of Breath of the Wild on Cemu and would like to transfer the save to my Switch.
I'm thinking about starting Atmosphere on the sysMMC once to run Checkpoint (or some other save manager) so I can transfer the save, then keeping sysMMC clean from then on.
Realistically, can I get banned for doing this? I know there's always a chance but in the real world, would I actually get banned for that?

As long as it violates the Terms of Service, you will get banned for it. In the real world, stuff like modchips and patches are perfectly legal but Nintendo doesn't really care. Its their way or the highway.

Is there evidence that incognito doesn't do it's job and still leads to bans, or is it speculation?
Its speculation much like how people think 90DNS is untrustworthy just because its operated by a third-party or Nintendo can add a new address which they haven't done so ever since its came out before Incognito. Realistically, Incognito and tools that function like it have no recorded evidence of failing therefore on a functional level, they are all the same. There is no rational thought or logic to people saying 90DNS is worse than Incognito without actual evidence just as much as people who cite Incognito is no better than 90DNS for similar reasons. Nobody has been banned for using either of these tools properly.

The only reason I would think the DNS solution is less reliable is only because it can change its filter rules or transfer ownership altogether without much of a warning. I'm sure news would spread rather quickly if that were to happen.

Alternatively use DNS mitm in Atmosphere. I do that along with blanking prodinfo also using the function in Atmosphere.

Hi. anyone knows if Restoring the unbanned prodinfo of another console works? If yes, can I have any proof?

I have been banned from a long time ago and haven't really cared since I have a Wii U with the same games and my parents dont want me to pay a shitty membership. Now the only problem is that I want to upload SMM2 courses which is not possible on wii U anymore.

I have find another possible way to do it which I don't want to say but is a bit risky.

It doesn't work because PRODINFO is console unique. There will never be a way to unban Nintendo Switch consoles. This is explained in the FAQ of the first post.

Hello, someone has certainly asked for it, but can I reuse my account that is on my banned switch on a new switch without the risk of being banned on the new one?

Yes, many people have used Nintendo Accounts from banned consoles on unbanned consoles without any issue. If anything were to happen to you, you would probably be the first which is highly unlikely.

Quick question: Does having an incorrect number of fuses result in a ban? I wanted to update my clean sysNAND to the latest, and was planning and restarting it straight into RCM after the update so I can load through hekate and not burn fuses. But then I will have too many fuses intact when I run the stock sysNAND through hekate. Is this safe? Or should I let it burn the fuses after the update in order to safely go online?

Based on the data I have collected for 3 years now, nobody has been banned for having an incorrect number of fuses yet. While this may change in the future, I myself go online with a lower than expected fuse count because I personally believe it is not a ban cause. And even if I do get banned, I will have definitive proof it is a ban cause so it is a win-win for me.

Heya, sorry if this question has been asked before.

I'm thinking to purchase a second switch or a switch pro if that gets announced at or before e3 and mod my current one (which I already verified is moddable). I'm planning to stay offline on my current switch to avoid bans and unlink my main account from my current switch and into the new one after installing atmosphere, but assuming I do get banned on that switch, is there a risk of my second switch getting banned if say, I use the same cartridges or controllers between both switches?

I bought a Switch Lite with SX LITE, the guy I bought it off had launched SX OS in sysnand before I bought it but no homebrew/piracy was present as it was a blank Switch.

I assume nothing has been launched on it previously as he has sold a few switches with SX CORE/LITE and was more of a electronics hobbyist than a gamer, and he enjoyed installing the chip more than using the system.

I have connected to the internet once since then to update the OFW sysnand and link my secondary nintento account.

All my own CFW activities have been in an AMS emunand.

I'm guessing by this stage I have probably been flagged?

No as there has never has been any recorded bans that are shared across consoles even if the owner was the same.

I would like to say yes although unfortunately I do not have that many statistics concerning bans with the SX Lite. What I do know is that it does permanently modify a part of the console in order for the chip to boot CFW however past that is No Man's Land when it comes to data. I do not know if that is enough information for Nintendo to start banning SX Lite users.

While its true that sx core/lite does a modification of the boot0 partition, its probably not flagged from just booting the cfw once. The modification of the boot 0 would look like a curruption, unless nintendo checks for this change specifically, which they don't seem to do, since by now people would have discovered that code.
Booting cfw itself in theory could leave traces, but an practice there is not much happening, that will leave traces, as long as nothing is installed and no error are triggert. And even then, at least in atmosphere most of the possible traced through error logs are prevented by redirecting them to the sd instead of writing them to the journal in a system savegame.
Also I used sxos and atmosphere until 9.x, and then fully moved over atmosphere, while normally going online with cfw active all the time, nothing is banned yet. But I also never cheated or romhacked online, or installed any nsp or xci to the system.

Great answer, thanks. I don't plan to use this switch online as I have another unhacked switch I use for that. I just wanted to know
