Atmosphere 0.19.3 released, adds support for Switch OFW 12.0.2

aaaa.png

Just as promised, a new update for the legendary Nintendo Switch CFW Atmosphere has been released, giving users support for the latest Switch firmware--12.0.2. There's not much new beyond compatibility, but there are a few stability tweaks and minor bugfixes involving crashes with erpt and dns.mitm. As always, you can get the latest release from the project's GitHub and make sure your hacked Switch is primed and ready to go.

  • Support was added for 12.0.2.
  • A number of minor issues were fixed, including:
    • An issue was fixed in dns.mitm that caused a crash when games attempted to resolve the IP address of nullptr.
    • An issue was fixed in erpt that would cause an abort when booting without having ever booted stock previously.
    • An issue was fixed in (file-based) emummc that caused an error on system format/downloading certain games.
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.

This. Even Pokemon Snap works on 11.0. Most updates at this point on the switch are going to be "stability" scams. Switch is way too far into its lifecycle to consider developing new libraries/API's for. Kinda like how the PS4 updates have been a sham for the most part, all the titles work on 5.05.
They're still regularly adding new shit and making breaking changes.
Once games start using 12.x sdk versions, shit will stop working on 11.x.

Every time a switch update happens, the same things happen in this order:
1)crazynoob asks for themes
2)people make unfunny stability jokes
3)a bunch of people claim to "accidentally" update their switches
4) new atmos update
5) sxos users brag about having sx os
6)Self aware evolved beings do some lists

Lol these guys are great as usual for the hacking scene... Team Xecuter should pay these guys tribute and revenue to all the money they stole buying the toilet crap SX dongles. Lets face reality although they completely leave their supporters in the dark, because they gone dead or jail.

Still trying to figure out why this matters at all?

100% of games work on the current "outdated" firmware. What reason do you need to be on the latest for? There's exactly 0 features it has other than 15 layers of Nintendo stability.
And we have now reached step 5

Not really an argument.

100% of games supported. Im playing games literally released yesterday. Trying to figure out how SXOS is outdated or obsolete.

Give it more time because TX has taken a dump on it buyers by never giving you a timeframe or plan to even release an update. Also something that cost moeny should get more support than something thats free. You can go on TX discord and see how even them guys recommend Atmosphere and a sub section based on it, so you might want to try asking those guys why SX OS does not matter much anymore.

God all these "stability" updates, yet its games still run as the inferior version and BOTW still has lag issues and joycons cant be used if your too far from the tablet.

Or should we say, "stability" means our pointless attempt to block cfw exploits.

They might as well just admit to the fact the switch has been blown wide open.

Only way they can prevent cfw is by revising a new model and change the way the mb is so the mod chip cant fit.

But it will do no good for previous models.
