Copy the OLGame folder from the extracted mod file and can be pasted over the local game's OLGame folder.For how to install on PC
I see. Unfortunately it looks like the PC version is a different recompile and uses a different layout. A few of those files are for keyboard related items, which the Switch wouldn't use. It is beyond my capability.

I found resources.assets in \romfs\Data The US version titleID is 010089700F30C000
So if you have the US version of Valfaris (not Valfaris & Slain Double Pack) the directory should be sxos\titles\010089700F30C000\romfs\Data

I couldn't find it. I did find a few other language .json files though.
Try putting it here:
sxos\titles\0100429011144000\romfs\Data\StreamingAssets\SNUnmanagedData\LanguageFiles\
Then run the game and see if it is in the language options.
IF it is not. Try renaming thai.json to French.json
Then change the game settings to French.

there maybe the potential of, if the engine is the same between PC & Switch version, that mod support maybe missing or crippled. (the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is an example, you can do a few simple simple things like video or image swaps, but making it use .pak mods? it crashes. ) Sometimes we get lucky that Switch Counterparts to a PC version can use roughly the same mods with little to no conversion (I.E. Skyrim), hopefully in your case OP its just down to needing to convert., best of luck!
