While he can't NUSspli should be able to. There's a reason it includes options to download to USB and install fom there, too.

First off you don't want to use SSDs on the Wii U: The Wii U tends to do a lot of writes which will wear out the SSD pretty fast. Also the bottleneck on the Wii U is USB 2.0, so a slow HDD is more then enough / you won't benefit from high-speed storage mediums.
Anyway, try to connect the Y cable to a (powerfull) wall charger. If that doesn't help: What's the full error message?

//EDIT: Also could you test a USB stick? Don't use it for long, just format it on the Wii U, then try to download a small title to it. This test will check for multiple issues (brownout, bad storage / adapter combination, bad Y cable).

//EDIT²: Also make sure you're using the newest NUSspli version. There where some USB issues in the past and as it was pre-installed it might be a bugged version.

np, just wondering since many of the programs for 3ds stopped working since 2018 when nintendo blocked access with those programs,

glad to see that wii u progrmas are still up and running.

Yeah. This was for the 3ds and the switch. Not for the wii u.

i got my wii u that i ordered recently and installed this homebrew,
um, a couple of questions that i have on this:

1) when getting content using this, all i need to enter is the Title ID? or also the title key, as the info for this app on github said something about a encrpitcion key (title key) also along with the title id?

2) do i need to create a fake ticket before gettingsaid content or will it be created when you start dl of said content (press a?)?

3) um, i can't seem to find "Project zero: Maiden of blackwater" on usb helper for somereason, for EUR, maybe it's not on the eshop?
this app can get it tho, but it is listed as trial version, is there a full version of this game or for EUR only, the tiral version only exitsts?

4) since i can't find blackwater on usb helper to see it's total size, how big is it in gb? (just wondering).

5) i can dowload to sd card only and then install to nand or usb using WUP GX2?

Sure but you can also download to USB and install using no other tool...

yeah, but the full game isnt or the trial version?
i think for eur, they have the trail version of blackwater being free, with the rest of the game avlable as dlc instead of the full game like
us, not sure i think.

so, for this game if i get the trial version & the dlc pack, it's the full game but in two parts? free & paid?
if it's free i could get it from the eshop, and dlc using this app?

also, does this game play with the gamepad only or does it need Gamepdad + tv?

um, i don't think there is a option to download directly to usb, you can download to sd & then install on usb,
not sure if a version above 1.17 in the fufture might change this? if anymore updates come out after 1.17.

Use this title id: 00050000101D0300. Is EUR as you said.
You can find in the title database by pressing F3 or Ctrl + F. Just search for the game you want.
And about the Gamepad question... use Google fam, I don't know.

At the moment yes, a LAN adapter gives more speed. Anyway, this might change soon™ (by enabling TCP SACK as well as TCP window scaling which helps in high round-trip time environments like WiFi).

i don't think there is a option to download directly to usb

Hello again,
I've tried to download games to the SD card so that I could then install them on a USB hard drive. I tried several games and several keys, but I always get these two errors after inserting the title key to start the download. Haven't got to the installing part yet.

What am I doing wrong?

Error messages:
No Title .tmd found at "vol/app_sd" when trying to download to sd

and

Error Creating Directory: -19 download to USB hdd

Hello again, saw the update list - pretty nice features!
When I update the 1.17 I get this error mensagem, am I doing something wrong?

Error says (red screen)
Error Opening File: /volexternal01/NUSspli_temp/NUSspli/

You were right on the previous mistake - my crappy SD card has the write lock randomly lock.

Update function was bugged in some older versions, so just do this update manually. Anyway, you'll love 1.24 (and 1.25 is just around the corner, hopefully last BETA round), I promise.
