No, I have a chinese repro of Platinum that works perfectly with PKSM. The only way to notice it's fake is the label, which is kind of low-res compared to the original cartridge.

Hi. Can i re-roll or random change a PID of a pokémon in PKSM like we can on PKHeX?
I own a collection of all Vivillon region forms wich i managed to catch legit (in-game), they are not generated by hack tools, and has legit PID's.
I want to clone and change them to shiny too but i want to do it on PKSM changing their PID, so they can keep with unique PID's when they travel between the bank to poké home, is it possible?

You can manually change the PID using PKSM's hex editor. You cannot reroll it however. You'll need to use a different tool to roll, then enter that value yourself.

Reroll the PID in Pkhex and then click the shiny button. I think clicking the shiny button may reroll the PID automatically, but I'm not sure. I don't hack my mons to be shiny, and I'm generally against it outside really hard to get stuff, but RNG abuse and the Cute Charm glitch are fair game and my method of choice in Gen IV.

Making a shiny with PKSM forces the Pokémon's shiny value to match your TSV, so I can't say whether it rerolls the PID or not, because the games ignore PID anyway because of stuff like Shedinja, and Manaphy having to be traded to be shiny since if it's hatched in the game it's transferred to it skips the shiny roll for some reason.

I just recently updated my PKSM after years, and I noticed it now supported Platinum. I'd like to re-hunt Darkrai and Shaymin but I had already done the events. I noticed under "Scripts" it has "Reset" and options for both Darkrai and Shaymin. When I run these, nothing seems to happen. I've tried wiping the wonder cards...but the kid is still running around rather than in the bed. I've tried other scripts such as max money to see if they'll work at all and they do. Is there something else I'm doing wrong?

Edit: Nevermind I just found that the reset doesn't reset the whole event, just respawns the pokemon.

Fire red doesn't work too well. Generated Pokémon just cause crashes. Magenta screen, or test when performing moves freaks out and then softlocks the battle.

I was looking for some help or maybe a workaround. Also, when generating a Pokémon, selecting a trait picks a random one, and then most other actions (changing gender, pokerus on/off etc) will then change the trait to another random one.

Not tried it out with other games. Fire red was the first I've used it with. But yeah, still some bugs with gen3.

And didn't they release a later version, and then pull it and revert to an older version? So probably some work left to get the later version back to being stable enough to be released.

While PKSM may not be able to help you yet, you could use this NTR Plugin to unlock all clothing in Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon

I also just went to try it with ultra moon, and all the Pokémon sprites (in every menu where they appear) are now all Eevee.... This is also the case in ultra sun, and X.... Not sure what's happened but I'm going to reinstall and try again.

You are thinking of Checkpoint. We still have no clue what causes the 3.8.0 crash on 3DS, it hides from debugging.

Item 'search' function in Bag editor only compares from start of item name strings, making it useless for trying to quickly narrow down to specific types of items. Paired with the item list being alphabetic, you may as well just use the big list instead.

Ex: 'ium' for Z-crystals, 'ball' for types of pokeball, etc.

Yes, I know that you'd get some false matches (Air Balloon if searching 'ball', Eviolite if looking for Mega Stones), but usually only one item you weren't looking for, but it's better than it is currently.
