Where can I get one? So this was a waist money then?
Its very hard to find one right now. Not only that but the SX Core requires soldering and finding someone to solder it for you is about as hard as finding an SX Core in the first place. I wouldn't say its a waste of money because you can sell your console and buy an unpatched unit instead. But in terms of hacking, it might be a waste.

How did you update Atmosphere? If its not the archive bit, then that means you updated Atmosphere improperly.
I did update via the homebrew app AIO-switch-updater but perhaps i didnt update the config files , guess ive pressed no when updating config files ..

Whats the best to do ?

REmove sdcard and insert it into a computer , and erase atmos folder , and replace it again ?

This is why you should not use updater applications because they are never as good as updating manually. You should erase the /atmosphere folder but backup any mods you may have in the /contents folder and you should also delete the sept folder then grab the latest files from the official Atmosphere GitHub which you can find here.

Whenever your firmware or CFW are updated, you also have to update your patches. Instead of using exhumer, I recommend using the pinned thread on this forum.

Hi again :)

Did check the pinned thread , but i cant find any info when fw is on 11.01 and ams 19.2 ??
Its written on the first line:
CURRENT BETA SIGPATCHES UPDATED FOR FW 12.0.1 AND ATMOSPHERE v0.19.2
Patches are backwards compatible if that was also not clear.

Hi all,

It's been a couple of years since I have last updated and I'm getting nagged to do it. The controllers need updating( but running sx Os so not sure it's safe) as they are unstable during game.

I am currently running SX OS V2.9.3 and i am currently on fimrware 9.1.0.

1) Is it worth upgrading?(thinking about playing new games and online if possible)
2) Will upgrading imporve joy con issues.

Also is there a guide you can point towards for a noob?

Thanks in advance

  1. Well newer games and updates require higher firmware and there is no way to bypass all firmware restrictions so if you plan to keep playing the new releases, you will have to update sooner or later
  2. Updating Joy-Cons only presents issues if you soldered pins 9 & 10 together
  3. Updating is as simple as using the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX
