Hacking Any way to move games+saves to new console?

not sure if right forum page, but i had to buy a new o3ds for the lad as the old one was broken, but i still have the SD card , is there any way to save the already installed games+gamesaves from this old console? i cant do any sort of backups or anything as the console is toast, have no nand backup other than the stock nand but i want the serials of the hardware and software to match anyway so just modding the new one fresh.
any ideas or input appreciated cheers

I'm not an expert at the 3ds, but afaik, there's no way now. you need a checkpoint backup or possibly the movable.sed from the flash might do it as well.

This happened to me recently. I searched high and low for about a week (while I waited for my new one to arrive) and found nothing. It sucks but unless you had extracted the backups from your broken 3DS to the SD card prior to it breaking, (using Checkpoint, JKSM, any cfw based save backup system) there is seemingly no way to get them now. I had "backups" saved to my SD card via the system settings, but the encryption on them seems to rival Fort Knox. I had a full backup of my NAND and some information suggested that restoring that to my new 3DS might work but it felt too risky. Maybe I'll repair my busted 3DS one day and pull the saves off. Sorry this happened to you, I know how it feels...

The only thing you can do is but the SD card in a pc and see whats on there. Any saves can be moved like this.

The saves are console encrypted if they never used jksm or checkpoint. Which unfortunately makes this not work

No use to OP as the saves are encrypted.

OP has a full NAND dump of the broken one, right? If so, then the keys might be included in that.

Otherwise, fixing the old one is your only hope.

just a full one of just the stock nand was mentioned. so I dont think they can do much.
