These DSONEs are available on AliExpress for like $10. The only way to get a DSTWO(+) is second-hand, usually on eBay. Any retailer claiming to have them in stock is generally lying.

Yep, that one is hosed. You should still be able to run YSMenu on it, but it's useless as a DSONE.

honestly like USD22 for 3 cards and 1 failure is still the best value for a great DS card
still got 3 more coming next week and I will test them also

I got my 2nd batch of them, 2 worked fine, but the 3rd one psram error showing FFFF's think this one is hosed also?

I think any fixed pattern is a bad sign. I've gotten one so far that showed different values for each address and was able to get it back to life. I have a hunch that it's a bad BGA connection. I have a stack of them coming soon, if I get any like yours I'm going to try a lazy toaster oven reflow and if that fails I'll try reworking with a hot air station. Certainly not worth the effort to save an $8 flashcart but I would like to know if the issue is defective components or shoddy assembly.
I have 2 original DS one i's from way back. They both still work, they came with an updating device that auto-updated by checking the patch just added against the present firmware and updated, using a computer and a USB port.
I'm searching for another DS2 (original) mine just finally gave up the ghost, after all these years. (Actually, I think I got it too close to a magnet and F'ed it up somehow. it just stopped being read ( quadruple checked the contacts)

contacted one of the sellers, showed the photos etc, and they wanted videos of it all, not worth the hassle to try and get a replacement or refund.
I'd bet money they would want the item shipped back and not cover return shipping. This is sort of BS is what keeps AliExpress relegated to cheap Chinese crap and surprisingly good 3D printer parts for me.

The next week i will receive my Supercard DS ONE(confirmed with my post office), i see in this thread confirm have some defective batch..cross my fingers my unit doesnt have any issue.
I'm a bit out of the loop, how can I install it? There are two folders, one that is named DSONE and the other that is SDHC that both share the exact same files.
I would used the SDHC versions though it likely doesn't matter. I didn't bother comparing the contents of the files but they may very well be identical. You just replace the original files in the _dsone folder with the new ones and you are good to go. The only difference I know of is the Pokemon Conquest patch so it's really not a big deal unless you want to play that specific game.
Got mine today. Seems to get stuck on the loading screen while trying to launch .nds roms. Anyone know why this might be happening?

This sounds like a PSRAM error. Hold L+R+Up when powering on and hit A to cycle through the tests, and take a photo of anything that fails. Some PSRAM errors are recoverable but others aren't.
Yep... sucks to have gotten a dud like the guy earlier, but I knew that was a risk going into it.
Luckily, something like RGF's multi-cart update doesn't rely on the PSRAM being functional, so it's not a useless cart. It's just also not really a step up from my DSTTi. I guess I still have the Supercard DSTWO if I want the other functionality this card is missing. Wish I had a way to replace the DSTWO shell because the broken shell I have is all that's stopping me from using that card more.

Awww man. It is a shame that the cart seems to be a hit and miss based on our current sample size. It was sounding like it would have been a decent recommendation to those wanting a DS flashcart nowadays without having to sift through the various R4s, with a number of the go-to options of the past being harder and harder to find.
