Hi

I have updated my switch today

It wouldnt let me receive save file from my other switch so I updated it

I was able to receive the save data to my switch.

Then I put the jig in and pressed power button and volume up button and it entered Hekate

I was relieved, but then when I go to launch and go to CFW sysMMC i get this message

Unknown pkg1 version
HOS version not supported
Trying backup bootloader
Found Pkg1 "('20210129111626').

Unknown pkg1 version
HOS version not supported

Failed to launch HOS
Press any key...

Please can someone help me get out of this

I really need to use the CFW sysMMC

Thank you

Thank you again

When I copy the atmosphere folder + patches folder to my sdcard, do I delete the old kip_patches in my sdcard?

It should overwrite them just copy it to sd card, or if you want just delete the entire folder and copy them.

Updated, ive got the payload to work. now Im getting the same error message when I enter CFW sysMMC :(

If you didn't already delete the entire atmosphere folder off the sd card. Copy new atmosphere folder as it to root of sd card, copy patches over atmosphere folder and retry.

Well I can't help you further you didn't mention anything about using emunand. I only use cfw so I'm not able to help.

I missed that sorry, but I'm not familiar. I'm fairly certain nothing is screwed up beyond repair it's just someone else will need to help.

If you're using Hekate you will need to update Hekate as well. Might solve it.

Did you try going into EmuMMC or just SysMMC.

Wouldn't give up it's fixable I just may not be giving you the right answers to fix it. There is CFW support on latest Switch firmware so all hope isn't lost.

Yeah just keep in mind anytime you update all of those things have to be updated every time.

Now Ive come into another problem. When I go to album to open up checkpoint, i get another message

An error has occured

Press POWER BUTTON to restart or a VOL button to reboot to a payload

DO I also need to update latest checkpoint?

Just about everything has to be updated even apps. You will need to look for a checkpoint on 12.01 or whatever that firmware is. Just use google and search by using words like checkpoint switch and your firmware.
