managed to put it on the sd card and open it with hbc but it says warning: usb fat device could not be opened (works perfectly on the regular nintendont)

also wii backup manager keeps crashing when i select the drive i want to put it in (also happened with other devices such as an sd card) i think its because of the settings i was told to use

hey nevermind i managed to make it work

Sorry for my late reaction. I didn't get an email notification.

Yes, launching games from USB could be a problem. I have not tested it, because I always use an SD card.
I know that the XBOX controller on the Wii causes such problems and there is probably no workaround.
I'm not even sure if trying another USB drive might help...

Bro eres de mexico? es facil si ya tienes el homebrew channel solo descarga la carpeta y colocala en dentro de APPS, y listo amigo, si necesitas ayuda no dudes en avisar bien por aca
ya lo instale pero de todas formas no me corre revvv me dijo que intentara cargar el juego desde la sd pero me crasheo

A mi me funciono bien, estas seguro de que es una copia entera o esta en formato ntk.iso?; ademas borra momentaneamente la info del Nintendont normal si asi la posees y corre el juego directamente desde nintendont, no lo hagas desde otro launcher (que juego tratas de jugar??, recomendación personal FIFA Street 2)

por ahora estaba pensando el pokemon colosseum (es el que intente pero no me detectaba el control y cuando lo desconecte y volvi a conectar me dio una pantalla verde y lo tuve que reiniciar)

If rumble doesn't work on your Wii U you could try this update:
Nintendont-XBOX360-1.3.1

After a long debugging session I found the line of code which was missing for the Wii U. (It was already fixed in the official repository. Should I merge more often? :wacko:)
is the nintendont default forwarder compatible with your version?

will itwork if i use wireless 360 controler with Xbox 360 Play and Charge cable?

Last week I bought a 3rd party WiiMote and noticed it's not compatible with Nintendont. (All other hombrew seem to work, though)
I had a look at the messages and only one message had one bit not set... So I added support for it to my fork...

Probably I'm going to spam various issue reports/topics with the solution :yaywii:

The 3rd party WiiMote is labeld with "NEW2in1" and "Motion plus", distributed by Haiwai Consulting/Tiger-Zhou UG

You can install both, but be aware that they share settings. (IIRC in the root directory.)

My fork does not support USB gamepads, it only supports the XBOX360 controller. :D
My code has a flag to either compile in USB or XBOX360 support.

And before you ask: It might be possible to support both at the same time, but this would require to rewrite the code a lot.

Thanks for your answer, I'm more than happy with "just" the xbox 360 wired controller, didn't check your fork yet because I didn't have the joystick at hand but I will soon, thanks for bothering with this project.

Didn't even know that you released some updates. I loved the fact that proper analogue support was added for the L / R, when we tested it years ago.

It won't. Same with a PC. Those cables are for exclusive use with the 360.

I reported this before but I'll reiterate: the wireless adapter will crash the console, won't power up, etc.

Hey @revvv, a pro-tip if you want to enrich your fork: a lot of good fixes and commits have been added over the years that haven't been merged yet. Check here. Also, there was another really useful fix for the crashing of Wii U VC injects when USB controllers are connected, made by GaryOderNichts, which you can get here.
