Homebrew Emulator Snes9x GX stopped recognizing roms

Snes9x GX 4.5.2 suddenly started giving me "unknown file" out of the blue. My roms are good since they've been working for days now. I tried everything I could think of (change names, file formats, compressed, uncompressed...) and looked everywhere for a solution but can't find anything.
Hope you guys can help.

Have you tried a fresh reinstall of Snes9xGX 4.5.2? If yes, try installing 4.5.1 to see if the problem persists. Also try installing Snes9xTX 1.0.6, to confirm wether or not the problem is isolated to GX.

Turns out it was a faulty sd card. It works properly with a different card.
