Thank you.:)

I am happy to hear from your Success.

thank you its FINALLY reading my hdd but now the games just lead to a black screen should i change game ios to 58 too?

Since your Setup is:

IOS249[57] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0

you should try 250 for the Game´s IOS.
(because of Base 56).
If this works,fine.:)

If you still have Issues, you better change it with the d2x cIOS Installer to
IOS249[56] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0

Good Luck.:)

Ok,please check:

Loader´s IOS -> 58 (HDD is recognized)
Games IOS 250 -> still black Screen
nand saves Emulation -> OFF

Maybe your Games are not transferred correctly, you mentioned you have "lighted" them...

Please check your Wii Backup Manager Settings. You maybe lighten them too much....:(

Use this Settings/Manual from Cyan please for the WiiBackup Manager and try to transfer them again:

No Worries.:)
But you maybe have to "check" your "Free Games" from the Internet.
There are many ISO´s/WBFS Files around, they do not work on the real Wii but for the Dolphin Emulator.

A good Place to look for "good" Versions is archive.org.
This is not really a Piracy Site.:)

You have tried what possible.

What you also can try:

- an other HDD
- if you did it not already, correct these please:

IOS249[57] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0

to

IOS249[56] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0

What I am not sure, did you ALWAYS used Port 0 on your Wii ?

An Y - Cable is not needed in most of the Cases. It is more useful for the Wii U.

Good Luck.:)

Hello,

given your syscheck report, the HBC is on IOS 061, it should be on IOS 058.

You can put your HBC on the ios 058 by following this procedure:

get Hackmii install v1.2 here == < https://bootmii.org/download/ , put Hackmii install in your APPS on your SD card

Launch the HomeBrew Channel then launch "Hackmii installer v1.2"
and do Charge.

Then you will have to wait for the appearance of the "1" it can take between 20 seconds and 30 seconds, be patient.

Then we will tell you what can be installed on your wii, you just have to press "A"

Then you will see at the top of the list "install the Homebrew Channel" and "uninstall the homebrew channel"

Go to "uninstall the homebrew channel" and press "A" then once uninstalled, press "A" again to continue.

Then you will see that the phrase "uninstall the homebrew channel" has disappeared, so do not quit the installer and reinstall the HBC by clicking on "install the homebrew channel" and always validate "A" to reinstall it.

Once installed, all you have to do is exit and you'll be back on the HomeBrew Channel.
By pressing "Home" on the wiimote, you will then have this at the top right.

1.1.2
IOS58 v24.32

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
