Gaming Help using direct input in minecraft dungeons

hi
i only have one xbox 360 gamepad, and 2 in one direct input pads, keyboard and mouse.
i tried using the xbox 360 pad + keyboard and mouse to play local multiplayer, it didnt work, now i wanna find a was to fake my 2 direct input into an xbox 360 gamepad,
so i tried using x360ce to generate dlls, but no luck, its either my twin pad are not supported, or i am missing something, anyway
if anyone can help me find a way to play at least 2 players locally, i'd be thankful

have you tried the steam controller thing? i heard a lot about that, not sure if it works universally though, or with multiple controllers at once

nope, i dont have it, i wanna go with what i have.

steam takes like 5 seconds to download

oh, sorry, i thought you are talking about the actual steam controller, so how do i do this, i have steam, i add the game to my lib ? (i have a no steam version)

idk but there should be a setting in the steam settings to configure things, i don't personally use it myself
