I guarantee if you Google indie world showcase and look at the key moments highlighted in the search results that return YouTube videos, that you'll find at least a few games of interest.

Past announcements that interested me include:

Ori and the Blind Forest
Freedom Finger
Untitled Goose Game
A Short Hike
Hades
Spiritfarer
Spelunky 1 & 2
Cybershadow

And there are more, I'm pretty sure Cuphead was revealed during one of these showcases.

Yaaay, more games that are on other platforms or going to be on other platforms in the future! /s

I know, the Switch is portable, but so is a laptop that can play a lot of these indie games with few problems, if any at all.

You are making a joke, I got that, but in theory they could do this on indie world (they won't but they could).

Bare with me, if they announce, let's say, Madeline from Celeste, it fits the presentation.

Expectations aren't high but it's nice to have something to look forward to between the last direct and E3. The only indie game I have my eye on right now is Silksong, but I'm also sure that Celeste 2 is being worked on so an announcement for that would be nice.
