Hacking I restored a PS4 backup e now the PSN games that I've purchased are locked

Hi guys.

I did a full backup restore in my PS4 but now the games that I purchased online from PS Store are locked. When I attempt to play them it asked me to buy them.

I probably need to sync with my PSN account. But I don't want to go online because I'm on 7.55.

Is there any way to unlock the games without going online? Although I know I can download FPKGs with the new 7.55 exploit, I would like to keep my original games because I don't want to lose my saves for them.

there you have another reason to dont support the actual companies Tyranny. Do not buy that way where you really, own nothing. If you think that i am not rights, get deeper with your question, and think that all you buy that way, is not yours, and will not be yours in the future.

Wow can I get some help here please!!!! I just upgraded my HDD and I restored from backup so looks like I’m still activated but now my PSN games like GoW won’t load and are locked, asks for update. All FPKG games load fine. I’m on 6.72

see if the rif files are still in user/licenses. it's possible it won't work without being on the latest. I know that's how a normal system transfer works.

afaik, the rif will be named after the content id like it is on the ps3. I could be wrong though, but I think fake pkgs have free in the name.

Ok well every single file in my license folder says free and considering I have several games like GoW and all RE games purchased from PSN, maybe I just need to find out the file name and rename it and remove free from the file name?

won't work. I don't know if the full content id is listed or not. you can get content id with something like ps4 pkg viewer. it doesn't matter if it's official or not. content id isn't hidden, and I think it's part of the pkg for the game to scan.

So I’m F’d then? No other tricks to get them to work? I guess I’ll just back them up just in case and install the fpkg version and say bye bye to my save files for those games? Wow no more Trophy’s

Wow I totally over looked that I would lose all my Trophies

I should of just stayed using externals. Let me guess, I can’t just pop back in my old drive and pretend like this never happened?

I've heard different things on that, so I don't know.

As long as you haven’t initialised: the old drive should still work.

What do you mean? When I upgraded I had to install the firmware so that initialized it right? How can you upgrade without initializing?

I think he means just reinserting the hdd. It should work with same system, same firmware.

Ok will initializing the PS4 on the new drive make my PSN Games work again?

EDIT: ok nm I just learned what Initializing does lol I’ll try and pop in my old drive tomorrow and hope it’ll all still work. Thanks

You have to connect internet set your ps4 as primary and restore license to unlock all officially downloaded games from psn store

And I can do all that without having to update or connect to psn? Cuz I’m on 6.72
