Wasn't in game last year, but understand Zipper should make an appearance when eggs appear?
Injected BCAT days ago, game displayed as 1.9.0a this morning as expected, eggs everywhere.....but no Zipper?

Has anyone else had this? Is Zipper NOT appearing this year?

He is definitely there this year.
Did you look everywhere? Yesterday he was standing around right behind the museum totally hidden from view.
