That's awesome, I'm glad to hear the project's still going.
I'm expecting physical copies of the two 3DS games to arrive next month, but I'll wait for the full translation before I begin the second game.

This team may have to pick up their paces otherwise capcom might beat them to completion since there is rumours swirling around a translation port collection coming to the west.

I'm always grateful whenever Japanese titles for the 3DS get translated and made accessible to the wider English-speaking public.

Due to the time-intensive nature of such endeavours, the way I see it is that I can expect to be pleasantly surprised with new English content for my New 3DS XL USA in the future, or at the very least until I properly learn Japanese.

is capcom planning to translate and HD remaster this game for western audience in the near future?

We know they are releasing it in Taiwan. So that implies some kind of translation, although it may or may not make it to english.

Conan Doyle's estate is pretty litigious so they might be afraid to release in the West. Maybe a Singapore/"Asia" physical release at most.
