When it was first released on the Switch it had serious problems with input lag, load times and glitches. It's been updated a lot since then. Is it worth playing now?

Sorry, but I don't have an answer (as I never played this game), but if your switch is hacked you can try to overclock it via sys-clk and see if you get better framerates.

I'm not sure why but I can rarely detect framerate problems in games. I played through the game and had no issues and I don't think I even used an update. But it was several years ago.

I didn't even own the game until after it was "fixed" but the white screen at startup really annoys me. It's like staring at a lightbulb and it lasts for what feels like half a minute.

It's a lot better now. It's still 30fps, but the lag is much better and visuals have been touched up somewhat. The other versions are still preferable but the Switch version plays fine. And if you have a modded Switch there's a 60fps mod for it.
