ROM Hack how often are cheats actually updated?

so for games like pokemon the recent update seems to have no cheats available through the AIO atmosphere updater. how often are these cheats actually updated? or is there another app or somewhere else cheats are more current?

avoid updating as sometimes those that make the codes later get bored of the game and delete it, its rare someone physically sits re doing codes for each game update that comes out.

id probably wait before updating to see if codes have been made as updates dont usually bring much.

It depends if someone wanna make it.
Plus @matias3ds must include it in his file. He do a tremendous job to keep it update!

thats the problem, most people move on from old games and work on new releases, matias does an amazing job and is quick at updating the main file.

Yeah... I must learn to do cheats for games as well.
Mostly the cheats just need to update offsets. It's normally not a big thing, but you must find how many bits been added or removed.

well its mainly pokemon, since they are still sort of relevant not so much bothered abuot other games

I did some for DOAextreme3 but pokemon is too much i dont know enough on how it works to generate the shinies and proper encounters.

your also best off learning how to find pointers as majority games memory is dynamic and wont work if you quit the game or load into another level/die.

if you have other codes from an older version, usually the values remain the same, its just address that will change.

for example immortals fynix rising

01# inf Health (off)
04000000 03498044 1A95C108

01# inf Health
04000000 03498044 2A1503E8

02# Inf Stamina (off)
04000000 034A0C28 BD01EAA8

02# Inf Stamina
04000000 034A0C28 D503201F

so for the 1.1 is searched value
01# inf Health (off)
04000000 03498044 1A95C108

and got a few results and tested them and was able to find it for the update.

so for other games you can try the same by looking for the values as they dont change.
