How many games you have bought that you never played?

Sometimes one buys a game and then never plays it. I am not saying playing it five minutes then deciding the game sucks and never touching it again. I am saying buying a game and not even play it at all.

Is my case... wow.

I have like forty to sixty games I never ever played. In some cases is justified, like Super Nintendo games I just bought to collect them, since I don't have a Super Nintendo, in others...

I just forgot? Lost all interest? Got to play something else?

For example I got some Batman games for the PS3 and just played two of them. I got God of War PS2 Collection and the games are still in the box.

I got Grim Fandango in the 2000s and It took me until last year to play it. So at least that's one off this list.

quite a few. I have about 143 now switch games, and I've only played less than half of them.

I've pirated a lot I never played, but I used to buy a shit ton of games and I usually at least tried them briefly. But many I never beat.

I can remember one though on PS3 Starhawk I paid about $16 for it used and never even tried it.

Dozens. I commit to some of them for a while, but rarely finish any and never truly play many others. I mostly only buy PS4 and Switch games at the moment, but it's still a big problem. The most played ones in the last year would be Animal Crossing New Horizons, Yo-kai Watch 4, Yakuza 7, Dragon Quest 11, Ys 9, and I just recently dropped everything except daily Animal Crossing chores again and started playing Bravely Default 2. In between Ys 9 and Bravely Default 2, I have bought at least 5 other games as well.

Good god, at $10 each that's $90,000, $20 each is $180,000, even $5 each on average would be $45,000 on games you've never played lol.

lol over 9000 is exaggerated

Probably around 300ish on steam
and about 100ish Physical games.

Still a lot of money if you paid full price. But not if you got most of them at deep discounts.

Looking at my Steam library, i count 15 games i've never even opened, if you count free games i've claimed but never played and games i barely touched, it's like half my library

Quite a few, been playing games that I bought on sales, like Tale of Vesperia, YS VII. I been hesitant to buy more games, don't want my un-played list to stack up.

I's like to think that I got @Hayato213 interested in ys. damn fine series. I think you asked me about part 8. I've gone through the entire game twice now, and it still took about 50-60 hours the second time.

@Glyptofane told me he's invested more time into ys 9 than any other previous ys game. can't play that on the ps4 obviously, since it came out last month? the switch version is supposed to come out in June.

Sorry only games that you bought count. Neither gifts or free games or trades. Used games count if you still paid for them, same as digital games.

Otherwise It would be over a thousand for me.
