Here's an early build to try out. Most of the keyboard is functional, other features are not implemented yet.
The assets and layout are subject to change.

I did notice it sometimes crashes upon loading content, but always seems to work after a reboot.
I'll have to look into this.

I do have to credit @jbr373 for inspiration and some of his assets to get things started.

These look great!
I have one minor request tho, if you don't mind of course.

Could it be possible for the banner to include something indicating it's part of retroarch?

Most core banners have a text like: `Libretro Core`
or a small white retroarch logo maybe?
Unfortunately my image editing skills are non existent outside of cropping and resizing. I'd love for that to happen if that's what it takes to include the files in the next build. I can give it a go; but I'm no optimistic about the results.

I've never done this. I would love to test this core but I don't know the console commands

DOSBOX?? omg can't wait to have jazz jackrabbit, raptor, skyroads, and all these games from my early childhood on 3DS.
+1 to the tutorial tho, i can barely get those to work on PC, i'm definetely gonna need instructions for getting it to work on 3DS

@MrHuu Keyboard looks real nice but really needs an enter and an escape key in order to be usable. I’m stuck at the install screen for Warcraft as I cannot progress without an enter key. Great initial try though. Excellent progress. Love the retroarch and Cheevos buttons.

I just wanted to say, that regardless of whether or not anybody includes my images for BlueMSX in the next Retroarch build, this community is fucking awesome. Thank you ladies and gentlemen. I fucking love my 3DS that much more because of you.

Love Bubble2K16 but for games that run on SNES VC, Nintendo’s solution is technically superior (though we lose out on fast forward and cheats). The Bubble2K16 emulators are a marvel to behold but the SNES9X and PicoDrive ones both introduce some frame rate or frame pacing issues. They are irregular but there even on N3DS.

Yeah, kinda meant unofficial. I'm not a fan of VC injectors. Even with folders in the HOME Menu, it feels cluttered to a person that has hundreds of roms. I prefer Emulator enhancements and features with a clean rom list. It's a shame that bubble2k16's emulator runs better than Retroarch because I much prefer Retroarch's Menu.

I don't understand people saying bubble's emulators have issues, they seem to run perfectly fine on my O3DS.
I'm pretty picky when it comes to performance (not accuracy) and i don't have complaints. Perhaps it's a tad below the ideal 30fps, but it's nearly unnoticeable. I don't even use frameskip. Perhaps you need to mess around with the settings?

Frameskip is optional in Bubble's emulators, if you are confident with performance (say n3DS), you can shut it off. There are definitely more accurate choices but nothing performs better, particularly on o3DS.

Even with frameskip off on the N3DS it seems to drop frames intermittently. It’s especially bad in PicoDrive but it happens in SNES9X as well. The PicoDrive issue does not occur in Retroarch. The performance of SNES9X in Retroarch is so hit or miss that the Bubble2K16 emu is still a superior solution.

Yeah, I only use bubble's snes emulator. Speaking of picodrive. I main that sega core because 32x support. But I heard Genesis Plus GX is more accurate. How true is that for the 3DS core?

Picodrive's audio emulation is pretty weak, GenPlusGX is miles more accurate, but it is more demanding and a few games are not quite fullspeed on the N3DS. It can run Sega CD quite slow so I usually go Picodrive for that and just hope the game doesn't lean too heavily on the Gen sound chips.

Is this true (the comments about weakness() after the massive PR from late December?
