Just something for you, it actually requires a NAND backup but if you already have it on an SD Card and don't have nand backup i guess it works.

FreeNAND has infinite possibilities and i called it freeNAND because it literally frees your NAND and can be used for every DSi. No limits my dood. This also means we can use DSi Development or DSi Classroom NANDs on our Retail DSis and vice versa (why would u tho)
what are dsi classroom nands?

Hello.:)

The Nintendo DSi Classroom is a "special" DSi version for Japanese Schools.
It has has a special Classroom Application on it.

The System Menu version is V1.4J_kst instead of V1.4J.

Now thats fuckin cool

Thank the DSi Classroom NANDs and my curiosity to try to get them to work on my real DSi instead of having choppy audio thanks to no$gba for leading me to get this far.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

For those with Chinese NANDs, with the new update to HiyaCFW helper allowing Chinese NANDs to be patched by HiyaCFW then we may be able to support chinese NANDs. If you have tested it and it works or not please make an issue on our github and it'll be high priority!

Thanks

Are you putting the dumpTool nand.bin in the folder or are you putting the HiyaCFW folder-based nand in?

EDIT: I'm also getting your same error, but manually copying the files and not using the manager just gives me the 1-2435-8325 error. I don't understand what FreeNAND is intended to do, I'm trying to transfer my US DSi XL NAND to my japanese DSi LL NAND and the error says that "the source NAND is from another system." Isn't that the whole point of this though, to change the region of your HiyaCFW NAND using the files from another DSi?

You can now with this method use other NANDs on your DSi

As quoted from the wiki,

Error: 1-2435-8325 (Invalid signature or partition type in MBR, invalid starting LBA.)
If you get this error, either stop pirating NANDs (you thief) or your source NAND is from another system (which means find the right one).

What kind of fucking contradiction is this?

I never actually got this working, to change the language of my white japanese DSiXL I just ended up swapping the motherboard with my english one. I still don't know what exactly this tool is supposed to do, I think it may only be for copying installed titles across regions and not the entire NAND.

I have a red Japanese DSI LL running version 1.4.5j that i want to change the language to English. I also own a DSI XL running 1.4.5U. Both systems are running Hiyacfw, When I copy my nand files from the English system to the Japanese I keep getting error 1-2435-8325.

How do I fixed this ?
