Simple enough, just show a fully working switch with that modchip you show and booting into Hekate.UF2 if you say it is so easy.

I've seen people actually use the chip by itself. @pyorin has done it. It can be done, but there's a but it requires time and additional hardware to program it compared to just buying a sub $10 chip online. The fact they both do the same job ultimately rules out the need to create your own, but then again it's a nice learning experience.

I'm not phased by smd soldering, bit of Leftover flux, but its the kind that hardens when cold, so its good at sealing, and it doesn't hurt anything

the board has exactly what you need for flashing and wiring into the switch, labeled and all

Tell you what, how about you get everything and make a full on tutorial. There isn't something like this here for the Switch where people make their own from scratch. Maybe make a video about it too.

i may, once i get the spare time,

i ran across that while getting pcbs and parts for a project on my Atari xl, there are people here who have the skills to assemble these, i don't assume everyone is ignorant

Alternatively you can get the RCMX86 from aliexpress... just saying.
If we can find something like that but that replaces sx core and sx lite then we are business. There are just too many v2 in the market now and v1 are getting expensive.
Has that happened yet? I’ve a V2 Switch on the way and trying to source an SX Core, fitted, in the UK.

Nothing yet, not that I am aware. I guess it is a matter of time, once the whole thing with Nintendo cools down we might see chinese clones of SX Modchip or maybe someone else doing a DIY version of it.
