PS1/2 Has anyone ever made a fan translation of Xenogears?

I love the game, but man is the official English version hard to read at times. I was wondering if anyone has tried making another script that's a bit more cleaned up and enjoyable to read.

I am not aware of any for English.

If you want to get your hands dirty then http://www.romhacking.net/?page=uti...erpage=20&title=xenogears&desc=&utilsearch=Go has some tools to edit the script of the game and you could then do it yourself with fairly minimal hacking skills by the looks of things. Warning though as such projects do tend to sap your desire to play the game afterwards.
