Just updates to latest firmware and everything still worked properly. Even didn’t mess up cbhc.

Good, longer the support, the better, wouldn't want companies abandoning support for a console I've spent a few hundred on!
Wii U is such a great console, so fun. It'll be retro and fashionable soon probably.

dunno. 5.5.4 in Europe replaced the system.xml, which is what's used in cbhc. all you have to do is reinstall it if that happens.

Emulators : Yes, but to play movies ? Not ATM there is no native media player for WiiU, except if you mean official Netflix or Youtube app.

disable dns or restore update folder or both. the spoof only works with games, so updating and eshop stuff requires updating or in the case of the eshop nnu patcher.
