HI I am a big fan of the RiiConnect 24 patcher and Dark Horse if you ever read this thank you for the wad2bin.

Recently I have been trying to get Just Dance DLC for 2014 to work on my wii. For the life of me, I cannot get the songs to show up and I feel like I have tried everything.

Here are the facts:
1) I am using a physical Wii
2) System Menu 4.3U
3) Still using a physical NAND (so no UNEEK yet)
4) Downloaded RiiConnect Patcher version 1.4.3 for Windows which is the latest version at the time of this writing.
5) Followed the instructions clearly dumped my keys.txt and my device.crt using "xyzzy-mod" into the root of my SD card.
6) The patcher took my one 2014 wad song I was trying to add and made the folder private/wii/data/sJOE this folder contains two bins 000.bin and 006.bin
7) The dlc I was working with is called Just Dance 2014 - Austin Mahone - What About Love (USA) (DLC) (JD2014).wad the reason I post this is to show, I am staying in the North American files with the 4.3U system menu and a USA wad.
8) The game ID is SJOE41 (Again just showing that it all matches. You can see the folder name is the same.
9) I uninstalled and installed the bogus wad with wii mode lite 00010005734a4f45_bogus.wad (After installation I checked with anytitledeleter and it is indeed there.
10) I have the riiconnect24 recommend IOS 80 installed, syscheck has it as IOS80 (rev 6944): Trucha Bug
11) I am launching the game under IOS249[57] (rev 65535) which is what the d2x setup guide and the darkhorse wad2bin guide recommends.
12) I am using WiiFlow 5.4.6 as a backup launcher.
13) I have larger than normal hard drives and SD card, that work fine for everything else. They are both formatted in FAT32

So, if the DLC is not showing up, I am stumped, I feel like the WAD should be found on game launch and will redirect to the folder on the SD card, where the song should be found and loaded into memory and it should just appear in the game, but it is not happening. Any recommendations?

(New Info) So, I tried the same procedure loading in all the JD2, JD3, JD4, JD14, and JD15 individual songs. The JD2, JD3, and JD4 all loaded in correctly. The 2014 and 2015, you have to go into archives, and it will let you move them into "wii system memory" and then you can play them. Weird, in this sense this may not be a replacement for virtualizing the NAND, as only 8 songs seem to be able to fit into memory the (NAND) at a time. If anybody else has any insight into this and getting JD2014 and JD2015 to recognize and auto load in all songs from the SD card let me know.

I definitely did that as well and it works. As did using riiconnect24 patcher.

The only real thing I am trying to figure out now is with Just Dance 2014 and Just Dance 2015, the DLC is not playable unless you go into the in game "archive" section and move the specific song into Wii Memory.

What that means is only a handful of songs can fit in the memory since the NAND is so small. This completely destroys one of the advantages of this whole mechanism of putting a small wad file in the NAND pointing to the full data on the SD Card.

It's almost a hybrid approach between the natural NAND (System Menu) and an Emulated NAND. With the two Just Dance games though, if you want all songs available to play on boot up, then the NAND has to be bigger, which means that an Emulated NAND becomes necessary. So, right now I am trying to navigate the morass or NEEK tutorials and how it interacts with WiiFlow to get the games to work.

Just to reiterate, my problem with RiiConnect24 Patcher or the using wad2bin directly was not really a problem with either of them, but it was a problem with the way that Just Dance 2015 and 2014 interacted with the data. I was expecting the DLC to be available in game to play immediately. While JD 2, 3, 4 will load all the DLC content loaded with Wad2Bin/RiiConnect24 Patcher directly into the game. JD 2014 and 2015 has them in an "archive" section and won't let you use them unless you load them fully into the wii NAND memory. Why? I think Ubi Soft changed the way that it was dealing with DLC and made it worse.

Can I get all the Just Dance 2014 and 2015 DLC to load in the NAND at once and be playable on game launch using a virtualized NAND? Maybe I am working on trying to find that out right now.

For anyone reading through this later, I was successfully able to install the just dance 2014 and 2015 dlc into the emunand (neek). Which lets you have immediate access to all songs and not run out of space in the NAND. Here were my steps:
1) Use normal riiptacher24 process to install the DLC.
2) Export NAND using bootmii
3) Extract NAND using showmiiwads (I tried with a modmii and wiiflow created nands for some reason, not alot of success.)
4) Setup up SNEEK (SD version) or UNEEK (USB) version. I did UNEEK.
5) Set Wii Flow settings to use new EmuNAND.
6) Launch Just Dance 2015
7) Go into options, you will now have a ton more "blocks" than a real NAND (as long as your storage media is large enough). Move to Wii Memory.

There is a lot that can go wrong here for someone, that I am not mentioning. The order is important, because showMiiWads won't recognize the bogus wads to install them into the emuNAND, but if you understand riipatcher, these need installed, so you have to do it before you export the NAND with bootmii. Beyond that just getting NEEK all the way working is a challenge, but now I can confirm it is possible.

Has anyone successfully installed Beatles Rock Band DLC with riipatcher?

I also installed Rock Band 2 and 3 DLC without issue, but when I got to Beatles Rock Band I tried two different copies of the wad and both are giving me this error from the log: "[Error Code: -9] Installation failed for WAD: Beatles - Rock Band, The (USA) (DLC) (BRB)".

can you help me step by step please? I did Just Dance 2014 and 2015 large wad DLC with wad2bin but of course the boguswads fail with wiimodlite (or any wadmanager) but it seems you've had success with your uNEEK, so I also want to try it too but I don't know a thing about setting up NEEK, exporting NAND and transferring the Just Dance .bin files or whatever I need to do.

I follow the steps but I´m stuck, I see the song in the archives section in the SD, I transfer the song, Just Dance says it is ok, but is not really moving anything. I cannot play the song!!!, did this happen to you?
